The Republican UV-IFV "Paladin" (hereafter referred to simply as "Paladin") is an infantry fighting vehicle developed based on a universal transport platform. After undergoing numerous tests, it has found its application in a variety of engineering tasks. The UV chassis is used as the base for more vehicles within the 252nd Shock Tactical Division than any other platform — including the MRLS "Tsunami," the MBT "Mirage", the AA "Sickle," and others.

The primary role of the "Paladin" is to provide protection for infantry accompanying heavy tanks to the battlefield. Once deployed, the infantry can dismount and support the tanks with fire. The Paladin's weaponry also provides covering fire while the infantry sets up heavy weapons — a task that cannot be done on the move. The Paladin is armed with a medium anti-personnel cannon capable of penetrating weak spots in some armored vehicles. It lacks energy shields but has significantly better armor protection compared to the TX-130. Its main trump card, however, is its ATGM, which, when used skillfully, can destroy any ground target.
