Vanilla Compact Diverging Diamond Interchange (DDI)

This compact, vanilla, diverging diamond interchange was inspired by the I-40 and Airport Blvd junction[maps.app.goo.gl] in Raleigh, NC, USA.

This is a completely original build! As it's vanilla, you do not need mods to use it, but you do need the Mass Transit DLC, due to the two-lane highways. The overpasses shouldn't have any protruding streetlights. It's recommended to place this asset on a flat area. After placing the asset, you may want to add bushes and trees to help with noise pollution and the overall look and feel.


In the game, DDIs sometimes struggle with heavy traffic. You will want to experiment and monitor the traffic after placing this asset. Another thing to note is that this asset has been created with "lane mathematics" in mind. You can upgrade the roads to add more capacity, but make sure you're accounting for "lane mathematics" so that the asset works as intended.
