Hey! So if you're like me at all, you've noticed the issue with lack of a framecap.

V-Sync *can* fix this, but sometimes not. Also, you cannot use V-Sync if you play in Windowed mode ( Me ).

SO! This guide is to help with the very easy way of capping your frames to prevent your PC from sounding like a jet engine in menus and rendering more frames than it needs to in game.

This is the following path to your R6 Extractions settings

Documents < My Games < Rainbow Six - Extraction < Random Ass Folder With Tons of Letters and Numbers < GameSettings

Enter this config text file and locate the "FPS Limit" setting. It'll be below Brightness and above Console.
With zero spaces, just replace the zero with whatever number you desire. If you set the number to anything lower than 30, the framecap will be disabled.

( Example in my case )
FPSLimit=120
