The Beginning
This is the easiest trophy you can get. When you launch the game just kick back and watch the intro! I promise it's worth it :)

Breakthrough (ZOC Achievement)
Unit and Stage Information
This achievement can be a little tricky if you don't know what you're searching for. To get this achievement I used Kuon on Stage 9 which is called Nakwan.

Jachdwalt has a skill called Eye of the Fighter II which activates ZOC in four spots. Kuon has an ability called Eye of Courage which ignores ZOC *only* when she's moving.

I'm not sure when Kuon unlocks this but I checked previous saves and she had it at level 14.

Getting the Achievement
After you beat the first wave of enemies and Jachdwalt spawns make sure Kuon isn't too close to him because this can only be activated when she is moving. When the time comes and you are close enough to move towards him you will see that the blocks around him are purple and not blue, this is ZOC and where your achievement lies. Go to the purple blocks and you're achievement will unlock!

Axetermination (Moznu's Axe)
Unit and Stage Information
The earliest you can get this achievement is in Stage 8 called Vice and Virtue. If you are doing this in early game (passed stage 10) then I'd recommend bringing Nekone and Kuon because Moznu hits pretty hard. I'd also recommend bringing Rulutieh because she heals herself each turn so you can use her as a hit sponge.

You're aiming to get Moznu to use his Final Strike, so it's okay to let your units get hit. HOWEVER it's important to note that you need to leave a space behind your character for his axe to land. You cannot get the achievement if his axe doesn't land on the map. When you see the axe land, send someone to break it. It will be easy to break because it has 60 HP. After breaking the axe the achievement will unlock.

If you want to know how I got it: I let Nosuri kill the 2 enemies in front of Moznu at the start of the battle and I let her take 2 hits. After moving Nosuri out of hitting range I sent the Kiripon that Nekone spawns to stand in her place and Moznu will attack it. It's easier if he doesn't go to the top of the map so make sure not to hit him at all. After he uses his final strike press your confirm button on your controller/keyboard and it'll spawn behind where your unit was (my unit died so it's not pictured)
Tatarigami Defeated
In order to beat this, you need to go back to back to Stage 11 which is called Remnants. You need to defeat the big Tatari in the back of the room called the Tatari Unkami.

This is one of the tougher fights because you need to outdamage it's healing. Everytime it gets a turn it heals almost 500 HP. I recommend coming back when your units are levels 25-27. Atuy, Nosuri, and Kiwru worked really well for me because Atuy's ATK was 66 at this point, Nosuri does great damage in general, and Kiwru can attack twice if you don't move him (Don't move him once he's close enough to reach the enemy)
Ten Outta Ten
This is a pretty easy end-game achievement to get.

1 unit has to kill 10 enemies. So if you bring Kuon and there are only 10 enemies, you can only use her to kill.

I used Stage 11 which is called Remnants and brought Kuon, Haku, Nekone, and Kiwru. However, you can use any stage that has 10 or more enemies. You can see unit details in Free Battle and Dream Arena.

If you are unsure of what Stages have 10 or more enemies here is a list.
(This doesn't include all Dream stages. There could be more. Feel free to comment and I'll update my list!)

> Free Battles <
  • Stage 11 Remnants
  • Stage 13 Mononofu
  • Stage 14 Shadows

> Dream Arena <
  • Stage 1 Strength Sought
  • Stage 2 A Cunning Plot
  • Stage 3 Counteroffensive

  • Stage 3 has exactly 10 enemies so be careful about bringing people that have a counter (Atuy, Ougi, Jachdwalt)

My Strategy
I brought Kiwru, Haku, and Nekone because they can heal (I know Kiwru was an odd choice but it was a backup plan). I have a Speed book on Kuon so she can get more turns. I let her kill the first wave of Tatari and then I grouped everyone near the Unkami. Everytime it hits someone in your party, it spawns a Tatari. Keep everyone in the same area (Unless you need to move Kuon to hit something) and you should get this achievement pretty quickly.

Coup de Grâceful (All Final Strikes)
Final Strikes are a mid to late game mechanic in Deception. I highly recommend writing down who you use a Final Strike for because the game won't have it written for you anywhere.
There are 10 units that have Final Strikes in Mask of Deception and they are:
  • Haku
  • Kuon
  • Rulutieh
  • Uruuru and Saraana
  • Nosuri
  • Ougi
  • Nekone
  • Kiwru
  • Atuy
  • Jachdwalt

Here are the moves for each character that have a Final Strike. Please note that this is a middle to late game mechanic so it'll take you awhile to unlock the full chain. I will include what level unlocks the Final Strike.
(Note: Some are estimates and I wasn't able to track all of them.)

Kamunagi of Chaining [Categorized]
If you do not like how this is organized there will be an uncategorized version after this one!

This is the categorized version for the Kamunagi of Chaining achievement.
I highly recommend waiting until the end of the game to do these because it'll take majority of the game to level everyone up high enough to get their full attack chains!
The game does not show you which chains you have done so please keep track on a piece of paper.
This is organized by ATK > HEALING > COUNTER
MOV = Move
CTR = Counter
FS! = Final Strike!

INSTRUCTIONS
There is more to this achievement than you might expect. You have to do each part of the chain individually which is why I mentioned writing everything down on a piece of paper. Kuon has a move called Kawasemi and it has 4 combos and a FS. So for that you would:
  • Kawasemi: 1
  • Kawasemi: 1, 2
  • Kawasemi: 1, 2, 3
  • Kawasemi: 1, 2, 3, 4
  • Kawasemi: 1, 2, 3, 4, FS!
In order do break up the chain you would press Y, Triangle, or R [Keyboard] on the last move. These are called the Critical Only buttons So if you only wanted to do 1 combo you would press the Critical Only button. Or if you wanted to do 2 combos you would press confirm once and then the Critical Only button

Another way to change the chain is to walk up to an enemy, press confirm on an attack you want to use, then press X, Square, or F and you can select which chains you'd like to skip.

Atuy
  1. Tokishirazu: 1, 2

  1. Senranzakura : 1, 2, 3
You will need to do Senranzakura twice because Jachdwalt has 2 stances and his stances affect the chain. If you use his move Kagematsuba and get to the 3rd part of the chain he will sheath his weapon. Make sure you do this in front of an enemy without killing them because he will only keep his weapon sheathed for 1 turn. The other stance is just his basic form that you see most of the time.
> You do not get the full CTR chain until Jachdwalt is LVL 26 <

Warrior Legend
In order to get this achievement you need to defeat 300 enemy units. If you weren't able to get this during the main story you can go back and do Free Battles or farm the Dream Arena.

If you're getting 100% achievements you should get this naturally while working on the achievements
Stand and Fight
This is a pretty easy achievement to get. You can get this as early as Stage 4 which is called Bandits

Rulutieh is a required unit on your team for this fight and she has an ability called Eye of the Fighter I which stops and traps people when they stand in front, behind, left, or right of her.

All you have to do is move Rulutieh forward and let the enemies approach her and it'll unlock when they stand 1 block away!
TIPS: Farming BP and EXP
The Dream Arena can definitely be challenging but there is a way to farm BP to strengthen your characters. I found out about this trick from this Reddit post but changed a few things to suit my personal playstyle.

The final story stage Vurai gives you 20 BP whenever you complete it. It doesn't seem like much but Haku can actually 3 shot him.

WARNING: If you are below level 39 you will die a few times. I kept clicking retry till he leveled up and it got easier.

This is everything I gave Haku + my stats. I am also using this method to farm him to level 50- but I am sure there are definitely better EXP methods out there lol.
If this method doesn't work for you- that's okay! There are other stages and you may earn more from other stages :) This is just the method I preferred
Master of Masters
Master of Masters requires you to have a unit at max level. The max level in Deception is 50.

Free Battles do not give you EXP, only Battle Points. So if you don't do this naturally throughout the story you will need to go to the Dream Arena.

I personally used the final stage of the main story to farm EXP because Haku could easy 1 shot the boss. If this method doesn't work keep grinding the Dream Arena :)

You get EXP whenever you hit something in post game so find a character you want to focus to LVL 50. If you are farming Dream Arena make sure you bring healers so your attacker doesn't die. If they do it's okay because if you click retry the EXP carries over
Unlock All CGS + BGM
After you get your Clear Save Data, go to the title screen and click Bonus > BGM and Bonus > Gallery and the achievements will unlock :)

Recollections
To obtain this achievement, you need to play your first Free Battle.

The game will let you know when you've unlocked your first battle. To access it go to the pause menu during a "Where to go" scene or before you start a battle and near the top of the menu it'll say "Free Battle"

All a Dream
After you finish the game, save the Clear Save Data and load the save. You will be sent to a blue screen area and you'll be in the post game content. Click the box that pops up on the screen and you'll fight your first battle!
