Doshmaxxing?
Yes, Doshmaxxing.
If you're anything like me and came back to patch #9 for the new achievo's you may have found yourself breaking the fabric of realty and coming to an impasse around wave 70-80.
Well O' ye weary traveler what if I told you that money can fix everything? Yes, a technique known to few but one so powerful that it can overcome the heat-death of the universe itself (waves 90+)

I will teach you my ways, but as with all things it will come at a price.
You realistically will not want to play any other way once you learn these forbidden arts.
Shekel Retention for Beginners
To get started, you'll be playing The King of GreedDOSH on the lowest difficulty.
These are the perks you'll want; if you aren't level 9 yet I've listed these based on priority
  • Planner
  • Oligarch
  • Politician
  • Lucky

Early Game
Place your palace in the back center and try to get a beacon, dispenser, or mercenary on the first turn.
Build positioning is pleasantly not a huge priority, just get your first beacon placed in the middle of the grid and save the surrounding 3 squares for trebuchets. You can honestly freeball the rest from there.
I personally try to get 2 quarries positioned on either side of my palace by round 10 but it's flexible.
Place your dispenser turrets in the front corners, you can always mortgage off units if they're in a bad spot.
Before your second decree you're looking to have 1 merc, 1 beacon, 1-2 quarries, 1-2 trebuchets (one arrow tower inst bad either) and 1-2 dispensers

Ideally by your second decree, the real fun can begin.

For early/mid game you want to prioritize warring with these kings.
  • King of Stone
  • King of Nothing
  • King of Nature
  • King of Progress
  • King of Blood
  • King of Spells
Once you have 2-3 trebuchets and 4-5 quarries you can promptly never fight The King of Stone again.

It goes without saying, but while it is rare, anytime a construction merchant comes up you're going to be looking for a temple. These are incredibly rare, but will make this whole endeavor much easier.

For your royal decrees, the plan is pretty simple, get these as SOON as possible
  • 3x Salvage
  • 1x Gambling

Pot of Greed
Mid Game
This build gets good when you have x2 Salvage but once you hit x3,and have the
Gambling decree you can truly become The King of DOSH.
As soon as you get x2 you should immediately start throwing 90% of your acquired cards into the garbage, doing this will break your dispenser turrets giving them essentially infinite attack speed, and having a large reserve of gold will allow you to have hundreds of mercenary units per plot.

You'll want about 2-3 merc camps and about 1-2k in the bank around wave 30. This should be fairly easy to maintain.

Remember to buy a lot of cards from the shop and sell them for even more DOSH.

You'll be looking for a lot of Clone(King of Nature) and Wildcard (King of Nothing) draws, essentially just getting as much as you can to level 3.
Earthworks is always a good card to use if you want more space in the early/mid game.

Try to get a stack or two of Iron Coat (King of Nothing) and Carnage (King of Blood) on your mercenaries, this gives them a great deal more survivability and damage.

Your dispensers have carried you this far, and you should be able to kill the final boss in 5 seconds, but we're a long way away from getting that achievement so buckle up.

Wake the ♥♥♥♥ up, King. We got a game to break

Late Game
For the next 30 waves, it should be smooth sailing.
You should only be fighting
  • King of Nature
  • King of Nothing
  • King of Blood
The rest have a weird way of breaking the game in ways that don't align with my capitalistic ideologies, and thus we pretend they don't exist.

You'll want a LOT mercs, ideally 5-7 and a large dosh reserve of about 6-7k
At about wave 60-70, you may notice that your fps is starting to drop significantly. I recommend muting the game and doing something on your second monitor while these fights play out because at some point the game has a hard time keeping up with all instances of damage being done so it just... doesn't?

In the later stage of the game, reality seems to break away, and the only thing that matters is who has the bigger unit number on screen, and this is why we come with 7 thousand golden dosh defenders. The trebuchets will also be putting in a lot of work damage wise, but its hard to even judge if the numbers mean anything anymore at this stage of the game.

By wave 80 you should be pretty close if not done getting this dastardly little achievement assuming your computer hasn't experienced the heat-death of the universe.

I cannot explain to you why your dispensers are only shooting 1 bullet every 5 seconds and are practically useless now when they should be doing millions of dps a second but I do know that 7k funny little guys is enough to overcome any obstacle, even technical.

Is it Over?
God I hope so
This game is clearly not meant to be played past wave 50-60 in it's current state so every wave feels miserable to trudge through.

This is my first guide, I hope I did well enough
