The exact dialogue is hard to pin down from memory, so a general warning might suffice. Can't remember the exact whiskey locations in Seed 2, although the first one was very early on (like within the first three cities or so). For Seed 4, I definitely remember buying some travel gear early, so that likely contributed.
Thanks for the prompt response!
I moved the location for the save state in seed 5 to help avoid the issue you mentioned, and clarified the temple name for seed 1. I added the visit to the bank at Marrakesh for Betray a Soul and to disembark with Leena in seed 7. I added in notes about checking the news for the Yokohama-Honolulu route in seed 2 and 3 - sorry about that! Not sure if the news can appear sooner than seed 2.
Interesting about your seed 4 being easier! Maybe gear related?
Dag about Seed 2 not being possible in the way I describe. Nothing in the wiki said anything about the Cambridge route not being available right away so I must have missed that! Good to know about seed 2 having great whiskey though!! I'll probably just exchange these. Would you be able to share where you found whiskey?
Seed 7 - (your Seed 3) Mostly accurate, although the timing of the second visit by Estelle is random, in my case it happened in Batavia (after I sold the Cigarette case in Benares). And the final reveal in El Dorado can also be messed up by dialogue choices after you enter the vault via the hatch in the ship. It's possible that Passepartout will only vaguely describe what happened in the vault. In that case, no achievement.
Seed 8 - No comments here; the boxing match was a mess though.
Seed 4 - I never had any issue with keeping Fogg healthy here; he gets fully healed up in Urga, and then again in Honolulu, so I barely needed to manually attend to him. However, an important thing that you forgot to mention is that in order to unlock the Yokohama-Honolulu route, you need to first read about the 'experimental airship' from a newspaper at any point when travelling. If you arrive at Yokohama without having read the news, you're screwed. I found that out the hard way.
Seed 5 - There is no Tunis-Alexandria route, you need to go through Beirut. Also, when you make your save in Luxor after Helena goes missing, you must save BEFORE actually using the device and finding out where the kidnappers took her. Otherwise you're locked into the Manama route and can no longer use the device to reach Machu Picchu.
Seed 1 - Certain follow-up dialogue options can mess up a scene (this tip applies to all seeds), like when showing the flute to the guard on the Vienna-Belgrade route; you can still get stopped if you don't pick the correct options afterwards. Also in Urga, you must go up to the one specific named temple, NOT pick the generic 'visit the temples' option. You also don't need to keep the sulde after showing it to the monks, so feel free to sell it (same with the flute). Also, for 'Love in London', you actually have to succeed in winning the bet, so arrive in 80 days or less, otherwise Goland won't be there.
Seed 2 - This path won't work, since the Cambridge route will not be unlocked after just one playthrough. I just did your route for Seed 6 as my second playthrough, since there were three (!) chances to buy whiskey en-route.
