Kasugano Sora New Horizons

描述
Hello everyone! This is my first large-scale project. Let me clarify upfront: this build is NOT a direct upgrade of the renowned Kasugano Sora by Dalva . Huge thanks to Dalva and their team for creating that stunning naval masterpiece—which I’ve dared to refine. As an independent developer of this third-party version, I apologize if you feel I’ve compromised the original design. For full documentation and operating instructions of the ship’s core systems, please refer to the original build: Kasugano Sora.

Now, onto the improvements! Leveraging StormWorks community best practices and my own expertise, I’ve implemented significant technical upgrades:

1. Emergency Rapid Response System (ERRS)
Flood Containment: Instantly seals all doors/hatches via control panel. Manual override per zone available.

Emergency Pumps: Manually activated during flooding; monitored from engineering.

Backup Power:

Emergency batteries (manual activation) power critical systems.

Doors always receive power during emergencies, bypassing main switches.

Secondary generator can be started via backup batteries if main power fails.

Recovery Protocol: Manually charge the secondary generator’s starter battery to revive all systems if primary backups fail.

Evacuation: Visual/audio alerts guide crew via illuminated arrows to lifeboats.

Lifeboats Include:

Survival gear (lighting, first aid, tools).

Communication, climate control, and GPS showing both boats’ locations.

Radio beacons for detection.

Auto-Dewatering: Clears water even if fully submerged, enabling escape post-sinking.

Backup pumps + manual air cylinders for pressurization.

Additional Safety:

Cabins: Emergency kits (whistle + oxygen tank) in every room.

Forward Lower Deck: Pressurization cylinders to rapidly clear flooded cabins if evacuation is impossible.

(This isn’t a full ERRS overview—there’s so much new logic, I might’ve missed details! Let me know in comments if you’d like a full system guide.)

Other Key Upgrades:

1. Sensors: Sonar, radar, and radio/video/text comms.

2. Weapons: Mines, guided/unguided missiles + hidden arsenal.

3. HVAC: Air vacuum system + emergency overpressure in the engine room for rapid drying.

4. Monitoring: Generator/engine diagnostics with error displays.

5.Fuel System: Fully redesigned logic with error alerts + manual/auto testing.

6. Fire Protection: Manual alarms + auto flame detection with zone mapping. Improved engine-room extinguisher logic.

7. Power & Propulsion: Complete logic overhaul for motors and electrical systems.

8. Usability: Enhanced controls at all stations.

9. Aesthetics: New interactive decor and design elements.

10.Original Tribute: Dalva’s lifeboat model (improved and integrated).

11. Hull Integrity Monitoring (HIMS): Real-time damage assessment for collisions and structural stress.

12. Anchor Automation System: Precision control for deployment/retrieval with depth-based logic.

13. Integrated Sensor Network: Centralized monitoring for navigation, ballast, and power systems.

...and much more!

Important Note: Many of these systems are brand new and still being refined. If you encounter any bugs or unexpected behavior while using them, please don't hesitate to report them in the comments! Your feedback is crucial for making this project better. 🐞

P.S. For the correct operation of the crane and the remote control of the fire arm, I recommend turning on the controller mode!

Overall, this ship is extremely sophisticated—over half the original logic was reworked, plus countless new additions.

Special thanks to all creators whose systems inspired this build, and again to Dalva for the incredible foundation that let me flex my creative muscles.

Fair winds and successful missions!

@Alfieyonk
Rely on the capabilities of your computer)

should i set any specifc physics level or is it just preference?

@Mr_Noob143
The engines are started on the engine room bridge. 3 keys for the engines, 2 for the generators.
But before that, you need to supply fuel to the engines. This is done in the engine room.

i cant find the starters

That's handy, thanks! Im looking forward to it!

By the way, you can monitor energy production. Either on the analog indicators on the engineering bridge, also to the left of the engineer's seat. Or on the bridge by pressing the screen with the battery percentage once. Use it)

@Insane Avali Hi.
I'm glad that my little masterpiece is bringing you pleasure)
Yes, there is a problem with energy, I had to bother to survive the maximum from the available engines, but unfortunately there was still not enough energy, so I went to extreme measures and implemented a lag machine to generate a large amount of additional energy.
It has a rather pretentious name (the Ethereum generator), but it does its job!
To turn it on, open the hatch located to the top left of the chief engineer's seat on the engineering bridge and turn the key, then wait for it to spin up and everything will be OK with energy)

P.s.
When the ship is in motion, the maximum performance mode must be enabled (the red button above the 2nd engine start key or on the engineer's console on the bridge).
Additionally, to charge the CG bus batteries, you need to switch the two small generators to the CG bus in the engine room, as they default to powering the EP bus.

I love the ship and I used it pretty often to just sail throughout the Seas. It is a very reliable ship with a very good damage control response, it has one overarching issue. The batteries are very small and tend to run out of energy pretty quick. When an emergency arises, usually I have to abandon ship for the sole reason because the battery just runs out of energy and I can't get the ship to run any other way except for bringing another ship by. One way I try to negate this is by running of the generators and the second engine at Max. But this still only gets me to 60% electricity. I have followed the checklist and not added any other modifications except for adding the generators and second engine to Max but I still get low energy.

@dokitar Hi.
Because it's powered by a booster engine. And that, in turn, is triggered by the booster button, to the left of the captain's chair. The system is needed to temporarily increase the ship's overall power.
