Special vulnerability
Elden Ring has a special parameter «isWeak» that indicates whether an enemy belongs to a specialized archetype or not.

If this enemy belongs to a particular archetype, it receives additional damage from a special weapon that has an internal parameter «weakX_DamageRate».

In total, there are 6 functions of such enemy archetypes in the game.
Below is the name and number of NPCs that have the corresponding parameter activated:
  • Weak A (34)
  • Weak B (303)
  • Weak C (25)
  • Weak D (65)
  • Weak E (0)
  • Weak F (0)

Note that the last two archetypes are missing examples.

Perhaps at some stage of development, certain enemies were planned, or the developers simply created archetypes with a reserve.
