🃏 How to Play Texas Hold'em Poker (For Beginners)
🎯 Objective of the Game
The goal of poker is to win chips by having the best hand at showdown or by getting other players to fold before the showdown.

👥 Players
2 to 10 players can play at one table.

Each player tries to make the best five-card hand using their two hole cards and five community cards.

🪙 Basic Poker Hand Rankings (from strongest to weakest):
Royal Flush – A, K, Q, J, 10 of the same suit

Straight Flush – Five cards in a row, same suit

Four of a Kind – Four cards of the same rank

Full House – Three of a kind + a pair

Flush – Five cards of the same suit

Straight – Five cards in a row, mixed suits

Three of a Kind – Three cards of the same rank

Two Pair – Two different pairs

One Pair – One pair

High Card – None of the above; highest card wins

🕹️ Game Flow:
1. Blinds Are Posted
Two players post forced bets:

Small Blind (left of the dealer)

Big Blind (left of small blind)

2. Hole Cards
Each player receives two private cards (hole cards), face down.

3. First Betting Round (Pre-Flop)
Starts with the player to the left of the big blind.

Options: Call, Raise, or Fold

4. The Flop
The dealer places 3 community cards face-up on the table.

Second round of betting begins.

5. The Turn
A 4th community card is dealt face-up.

Another round of betting.

6. The River
A 5th and final community card is dealt.

Final round of betting.

7. The Showdown
Remaining players reveal their hole cards.

Best 5-card poker hand wins the pot.

🔁 Actions Players Can Take
Check – Pass the action to the next player (if no bet before you)

Bet – Wager chips

Call – Match another player's bet

Raise – Increase the current bet

Fold – Give up your hand and exit the round

💡 Tips for Beginners:
Learn hand rankings well.

Play tight (don’t play too many hands).

Pay attention to your position – acting last is usually an advantage.

Watch other players’ behavior (called “reading tells”).
