WARNING: THIS MOD UTILIZES SCRIPTED MODE, MEANING IT MIGHT CONFLICT WITH SOME MUTATIONS AND A FEW SCRIPTS. Burn like it's 2008!

This addon recreates the burning tank mechanics from l4d1, which is the lack of afterburn damage, the speed boost, and the unique fire pain sounds that he can finally let out after all these years of being interrupted by his normal pain sounds. There's also the death timer, which varies based on difficulty.

You can change the death timer with these commands:

Default:

tank_burn_duration 75
tank_burn_duration_hard 80
tank_burn_duration_expert 85

L4D1-Style Config:

tank_burn_duration 30
tank_burn_duration_hard 35
tank_burn_duration_expert 40

Is there any possibility of being able to change the config without using the commands through a cfg file? I'm too lazy to open the console.

You mustn't have disabled absolutely everything. This mod was tested in a clean game and it works just fine.

I deleted or disabled every other addon i have and for this addon, nothing is taking damage. Doors and windows cannot be broken and survivors and infected don't take damage to anything.

i think the mod is broken or something. nothing takes damage anymore, not even windows. what happened here???

I'm not sure how you do it, but you keep releasing banger script after banger script. So many of them fill a void in my heart like this one for the L4D1 tank mechanics, awesome stuff!

You could do this mod the same way, but just have it be a pure script so the tank screams like this one and without modifying anything else, okay?

You're not meant to use this version at the same time as the compatibility version. You have to pick one. If this main version doesn't work for you no matter what, you'll have to stick with the compatibility version only.
