🧭 Fokker Eindecker E.III – Overview and History
The Fokker Eindecker E.III was the most famous variant of the Eindecker series — the first purpose-built German fighter aircraft. Introduced in late 1915, it became notorious for giving the German Air Service a temporary air superiority known as the "Fokker Scourge".

The E.III was a monoplane with a revolutionary synchronized machine gun, allowing the pilot to fire through the propeller arc without damaging the blades — a huge technological leap at the time.
