Glossary

General
  • Armor Rating: A portion of all incoming damage is mitigated by your Armor. The higher your Armor Rating, the more damage is mitigated.
  • Shield Improvement: Improves your Shields' recharge speed and decreases their recharge delay.
  • Critical Hit Chance: Refers to the probability of a hit becoming a Critical Hit. ? base, +Crit chance is additive
  • Critical Hit Damage: Refers to the bonus damage dealt from Critical Hits. 35% base, +Crit damage is additive
  • Critical Hits: All of your attacks have a chance to become Critical Hits, which deal extra damage.
  • Element: Refers to the Elemental Affix of a weapon, which determines its Damage Type and Proc.
  • Elemental Damage: Refers to tdamage done by Elemental Procs, Elemental Debuffs and Weapons with an Elemental Affix. +Elemental damage is additive
  • Marked Enemies: Enemies that have been Marked take 50% more damage for 5 seconds.
  • Proc Chance: Refers to the probability of a Proc to occur on hit. +Proc chance is multiplicative
  • Weakpoint Damage: Hitting a target's Weakpoint deals additional damage. Weakpoints are typically highlighted by a glow. 35% base with some exceptions, +Weakpoint damage is additive
  • Diffraction: Attacks against the target have +20% Proc Chance for 6 seconds.
  • Refraction: Target takes 20% more Proc Damage for 6 seconds.
  • Prismatic Rebirth: Deals 500 Elemental Damage to enemies with 15 meters of the target.

Elements
  • Cryo Damage: Weapons of this type inflict Elemental Damage of the Cryo type.
    • Chill: Reduces target's Movement Speed by 30% for 6 seconds.
    • Shatter [Proc]: Shoots fragments of ice from the target that damage and Chill enemies within 6 meters.
    • Freeze [Proc]: Freezes the target in an ice block for 2 seconds, dealing damage and applying Chill to nearby enemies
  • Fire Damage: Weapons of this type inflict Elemental Damage of the Fire type.
    • Burn: Increase target's Damage Received by 10% for 5 seconds
    • Combustion [Proc]: Target Combusts, applying Burn and a stackable damage over time effect to enemies within 8 meters.
    • Ignite [Proc]: Target Ignites, applying Burn and a powerful stackable damage over time effect.
  • Lightning Damage: Weapons of this type inflict Elemental Damage of the Lightning type.
    • Shock: Increases Crit Chance against the target by 15% for 6 seconds.
    • Chain Lightning [Proc]: Sparks Chain Lightning on the target, which damages and applies Shock to up to 3 nearby enemies.
    • Lightning Bolt [Proc]: Sparks a large Lightning Bolt that does massive damage and applies Shock to enemies near the target.
  • Void Damage: Weapons of this type inflict Elemental Damage of the Void type.
    • Void Corruption: Reduces target's damage by 20% for 8 seconds.
    • Void Tendrils [Proc]: Spawn Tendrils linking the target with 4 nearby enemies over 15 meters, applying Corruption and spreading 20% of damage dealt to any linked target over the network.
    • Singularity [Proc]: Spawns a Singularity on the target that pulls in enemies within 5.5m, dealing damage and applying Corruption.
  • Plasma Damage: Weapons of this type inflict Elemental Damage of the Plasma type.
    • Flux: Reduces target's Attack Rate by 30% for 6 seconds.
    • Plasma Ball [Proc]: Spawns a Plasma Ball on the target, which periodically damages nearby enemies and applies Flux to them.
    • Plasma Seeker [Proc]: Spawns a Plasma Seeker on th etarget, which seeks out and damage the nearest enemy, applying Flux to the in the process.
  • Psionic Damage: Weapons of this type inflict Elemental Damage of the Psionic type.
    • Fracture: Adds a 15% chance to Stagger the target when they take additional damage for 5 seconds.
    • Psychic Punch [Proc]: Targets are puched back, damaging them and applying Fracture.
    • Telekinetic Slam [Proc]: Targets are lifted into the air and smashed into the ground, damaging them and applying Fracture.
