Beskrivning
C# Clientside mod that adds more blood into the game

It uses different decal system, so it's not net synched, saved, doesn't touch vanilla blood decals, people without the mod won't see it and it can't be cleaned for now

You can control global blood amount with the slider in graphics settings, but it's not visible in main menu, only in real game

And for more precise control you can edit config.xml in mod folder, what each setting do explained here

Already implemented:
  • Parallel decal system that doesn't conflict with vanilla one
  • Bleeding limbs create blood decals
  • Blood darkens when as it dries
  • Blood decals have random rotation
  • Small blood splashes have smaller lifetime and removed faster for performance
  • Blood flow oscillates with character pulse
  • Limb movements affect blood flow
  • Big monsters bleed more, psilotoads - less
  • Config for all the parameters
  • GUI for config - one little slider in graphics settings menu
  • Create my own blood decals from taking damage and hide vanilla ones
  • Cleaning

Planned:
  • Add separate decals for explosions
  • Add separate decals for dismemberment
  • Add separate decals for dragging - if someone draws me a sprite
  • Directional splashes from bullets / spears - if someone draws me a sprite
  • animation on fresh splashes - if someone draws me a spritesheet
  • Further performance optimizations
  • full GUI for config - only after CUI is published

ничего не происходит с сервером с этим модом, потому что мод клиентский, там нет сетевой части
По оптимизации там все упирается в сортировку спрайтов которая ест цпу
Я пробовал на компе с Dual Core 2.4 GHz и там до 1000 пятен импакт не заметен
Опять же есть ползунки можешь сделать больше крови или меньше лагов

Насколько сильно мод влияет на оптимизацию и как он работает в мультиплеере, точнее, можно ли играть будучи хостом с этим модом или нет? Что происходит с сервером с этим модом?

What are the suggested configs for longer lasting blood?
could you add more spray from dismemberments or even NT traumatic amputations?
