Black Mesa: Blue Shift - Juniez's Classic Glock

描述
The true standard-issue sidearm of the Table Blank Forces of Secure since the 20th of November, 1998.

Juniez's HL1 LD Glock recreation now ported to Black Mesa: Blue Shift to replace the vanilla Glock model for maximum Half-Life 1 with some modifications to the mesh itself to fit with the current animations (totally did not modify a tiny bit of it).

Features
* The Classic Glock in it's HD glory. (magazine not included)
* vanilla glonk be gone :)
* the barrel properly tilts
* cutscene-specific model (not compatible with replacers that also touch this)
* Weapon Icon courtesy of Old Hermit, stylized to suit BMBS' weapon icon style (even if I'm not a massive fan of it)

Installation
1. Subscribe the addon
2. Open your Steam directory and go to "steamapps\workshop\content\362890\3485161192"
3. Take the vpk file and shove it to the custom folder in the bshift folder, if no custom folder - make one. Go to here if you're having trouble
4. If it doesn't work, repeat steps 1 to 3, idk its your system do whatever you want with it.

Jesus chill the kark out, I'll update it in due time because of the mod also getting an update, I'm busy with other stuff as is.

And also for the unintiated, the textures are not at 2k or 4k resolution; I used the textures found in the workshop instead of the source files where its uncompressed idk where the hell you're getting this.

And also, it's EXACTLY because of this Glock that at the very beginning of the game and the updated ending of Chp. 5 of the BS remake from 16/2025, we don't move and stand like a totem, without movement or interaction. Will you fix it? Make up your mind, the default Glock is fine for me!

It's a cool pistol model, However, this Glock PROBABLY causes the BS remake to crash for me, regardless of the settings, be it Minimum or Maximum (Ultra). I get this error: "Engine Error. Out of memory or address space. Texture quality setting may be too high." I initially stole the message from the new BS remake update from 16/2025, but most players haven't reported ANY errors related to this Glock, mostly regarding optimization. I sure the author used rather high textures for this Glock, which is why the Source 1 engine is struggling, simply put, the author didn't compress the textures, which is why the Source 1 will constantly report an error, and that's it!
