Does pasting in Zomboid normally work?

how do you copy-paste the songs? command+V isnt working for me

imagine making zombies passive with your music

Imagine leveling your Music Skill, and the Songs go from "easy" to "medium" to "hard", maybe even to "virtuoso" with more Sounds/faster playing of the Songs.
Would be cool with the Guitar for example, going from simple Plucking, all the way to playing even difficult rifts.

I found it but since it's a text file it doesn't really make it less tedious. Have you considered using .abc files? I know of a mod doing a similiar thing for a game called Vintage story and it uses these files instead of a single text file. fyi mods name is "IInstruments"

Can you tell me where is the directory for songs? I want to add multiple at once and copy+pasting in game is really tedious otherwise great mod.

The goal was to avoid outside/third-party programs, ABC also has shorthand for bpm switches for certain notes. Although, I didn't see any songs requiring mid-song switches.

The songs came from an old Starbound library, that came from an old LOTR library. Some of the tempos (Q:) do feel a bit slow, and that may be due to PZ/the overhead of the mod. Adding 10-20 bpm seems to fix most issues on my end.

Great idea, but it seems to me like having the letters as 'sheet music' and being able to play the keys yourself would be better for playing the right rhythm, as opposed to a constant BPM.

This idea was done really well with 'the Virtual Piano' website, as well as in many different roblox games. A lot of keyboard-based sheet music already exists on the Virtual Piano website, is that where you got these songs?
