what on earth is a Custom Lobby
it's over here

with it you can Join and Create cool lobbies but today we're talking about Power Stone 2 specifically because this is how we thrive i think

here's something you oughta know...
check for other Lobbies first
before you make your own lobby you should probably investigate if someone has made a lobby you want to partake in first
that way you don't have 2 lobbies both sitting around waiting for someone. you could be playing together right now.

we'll get into the Event Mode options more in-depth in a second but for now try and think;

If you want to play Multiplayer VS Matches, look for On (Quick Match)
If you want to play Co-Op Arcade Mode, look for Off (Arcade Style)

there are differences between the two i'll explain em later
get it? got it? good let's keep going
Creating a Lobby for Co-Op Arcade Mode (2P)
wanna play the Arcade Mode with a partner? here's how

Setting the room up
first off set up a room that looks something like this;
if you're not planning on having any spectators, set Number of Players to just 2.
"but why? What's the Difference between Arcade Style and Quick Match for VS?"
if you have more than 2 human players in Arcade Style, it'll always go to the in-game VS mode. and if someone gets KO'd completely they can insert a coin (where applicable) and then press Start to boot everyone back to the character selection screen, which is very silly. think of it like playing at arcade cabinets, so it's better to do Quick Match if you're planning to fight against eachother. but back on topic

Game Rules and Starting the Game
most of the Game Rules don't matter too much in Arcade Mode, but you can increase the Game Difficulty or damage if that's what suits you. Power Stone 2 starts at a pretty low difficulty, and it's easy for two skilled players to steamroll it. up the ante if you wish, and then hop in!

once you get into the game, make sure both players are connected (if you don't see both of your cursors in the character select screen, someone needs to press the Start button!)
after you select your characters, click "COOPERATE AND CONQUER!" to enter the Arcade Mode. it's the big button at the top, can't miss it

Creating a Lobby for Multiplayer Versus (2P - 4P)
looking to play matches with 3 or 4 players? or just sparring a few rounds with a buddy like you would in Casual Match with a few extra bits? here's how;

Setting the room up
first off set up a room that looks something like this;
the Victory Condition makes it so after someone wins that many matches, the game will return to the Lobby screen on it's own. after a match you can also go on Standby by reclining a rematch to return to the Lobby menu early, if you wish.
If you want to play a few games and then see if any other people want to hop in, keep it low! But if you want to do longer sessions with a planned group feel free to crank it

Game Rules and Starting the Game
the game rules are actually important this time so listen up, pay attention

Match Victory Condition
set it to One Fighter Left, probably. that's the more fun option in my opinion, unless you have a 4-player group and like having two people live at the end. i won't judge

Stage Selection
there are some stages that can only be played on if Stage Selection is set to Random.
so if you want to be able to experience those, set it to Random! but if you're playing competitively or something and want to counterpick to the elevator, set it to Manual. you do you.

after that, hop in! glhf
Please Play Power Stone 2 Lobbies
i've seen a few people confused and upset by the Casual Match option not having 4-player and wondering if it just isn't an option to play with 4 players, and i also think that trying to get the playerbase into the Lobbies can help out Power Stone 2 specifically compared to the other 1-on-1 games.
lobbies should be our lifeblood for enjoying Power Stone 2 to it's maximum. so uhh

Use and search for Quick Match to find people to play Versus Mode with!
And use/search for Arcade Style to let people know you want to play Arcade Mode together!
hop on power stone 2 lobbies. tell your friends to hop on power stone 2 lobbies. pretty please

that's all!
