First off, you will need the spirit rune for you to enter spirit mode (shocking i know). You get this by progressing through the story.




Next you are going to need the "Rune of Suffering" for the tail rune. this one can be missed if you are not going for side areas during your play though.




In order to get this Rune you are going to need to buy it for 1000 crystals from the raccoon in the Ashland section of the game (950/900 if you got the 5/10% discount skill)




Finally, the last thing you need to do is upgrade your spirit energy recovery time skill in the skill tree (I upgraded my recovery twice but it might only need one upgrade. No harm finding out).

Once you have levelled up and equipped all the runes you are wanting to make your HP as low as possible (preferably 1-2) bars of heath left)

After all of that is done you can now enter spirit mode and you wont run out of time. Enjoy this till your hearts contents
