INTRODUCTION
  • Complete guide for the video game Plants vz Zombies : Goty Edition.

SPUDOW!



Blow up a zombie using a Potato Mine.



  • Once planted you must wait 15 seconds for it to activate.

EXPLONADOR




Blow up 10 zombies with a single Cherry Bomb.


  • The CherryBomb is a plant that explodes in an area killing normal enemies and disappearing in the process. 3x3 area.
  • The plant is unlocked at level 1-2.
  • It is recommended to use it when many zombies are grouped together in flag waves and in more advanced levels like the pool. or if you are lucky at level 1-10.

PENNY PINCHER




Pick up 30 coins in a row on a single level without letting any disappear.


  • The money is unlocked at level 2-1 and you have to be careful because if you don't collect them they will disappear.
  • Gold and silver coins are used for this achievement, diamonds do not count in the pc version.

DISCO IS UNDEAD



Hypnotize the lead zombie dancer.


  • The Hypno-shroom is unlocked at level 2-5.


  • We must hypnotize the leading dancing zombie, which is the one that summons the dancers, this zombie is a little slow, it is the one with afro hairstyle.

HOME LAWN SECURITY



Complete all 50 levels of the game in adventure mode.

  • For this you will play the base game from level 1-1 to level 5-10.

ROLL SOME HEADS




Bowl over 5 zombies or more with a single Wall-nut.

  • It can be done in level 1-5, but it is easier in the mini-game Wall-nut Bowling 1 and 2.
  • The recommendation is to wait until there is a big wave of zombies and throw the nut so that it hits 5 times, being 5 bounces but we only have to kill the last zombie.

DON´T PEA IN THE POOL




Complete a daytime pool level without using Peashooters of any kind.

  • The easiest level to do it is 3-1 because it is the one with less zombies.
  • It seems difficult but it is actually very simple.
  • In the level 3-5 of the pool we can get it very easy.
  • We will only plant Wall-nuts and Cherry-Bombs.
  • When Peashoter seeds appear we will not plant them.

Fun fact: The phrase “Don't Pea in the pool” is a reference to the popular phrase “Don't Pee in the pool”.

MORTICULTURALIST




Collect all 49 plants, including plants from Crazy Dave's shop.

  • We must collect all 49 plants in the game.
  • 40 plants can be unlocked in adventure mode.
  • 9 plants are unlocked in the store.

  • These plants are premium as they are only available from the craizy dave store.

SUNNY DAYS



Get 8000 sun during a single level.

  • This achievement is not difficult but it takes about 7 minutes.
  • It can be done at any level but the easiest ones will always be the first 1-2 is the most recommended.

We will choose the plants:



Strategy:

  • We must leave a zombie alive, planting the nuts and pumpkins so that it does not advance.
  • We will wait for the sunflowers to produce suns and collect them until we accumulate 8,000.

NOBEL PEAS PRIZE

  • To have the silver trophy for passing the adventure mode.

Fun fact: the name “nobel peas prize” is an allegory for the “nobel peace prize”.

CRYPTOZOMBOLOGIST




Discover the Yeti Zombie.

  • This “hidden” character appears only at level 4-10.
  • We must play the second round of adventure mode, (after getting the silver trophy).
  • This level is at night and the only source of light is lightning.
  • It is not necessary to kill him to get the achievement.
  • However we must kill him to appear in the almanac.



Curious Fact: The zombie Yeti died in PVZ 1 when he was killed by the neighbor (us) in later installments as PVZ2 appears as a robot.

If you didn't get it the first time (if it ran away) you can restart the level twice , press the restart button in the pause menu, to make it appear again, this is also a way to farm money since zombie yeti leaves 3 diamond when defeated.

POPCRON PARTY



Defeat 2 Gargantuars with corn cob missiles in a single level.

  • The corn cob missile is a premium plant that can be purchased in the craizy dave store.
  • It is recommended to do it in survival endless, infinite mode or any Hard survival mode.
  • The zombiestein shots of the corn cob missile.
  • At level 5-8 the achievement can also be performed.

IMMORTAL



Survive 20 waves of pure zombie ferocity.

  • In survival endless mode (infinite mode).
  • We must reach 20 flags (20 waves).



  • This achievement is the second most difficult in the game.
  • It requires knowledge of all plants and zombie to create a strategy.

MUSTACHE MODE



Enable Mustache Mode.

  • This achievement is simple.
  • We must write in our keyboard “mustache”.
  • If we want to deactivate it, we will also type “mustache”.

GROUNDED



Complete a normal Roof level without using any catapult plants.

  • We can not use any catapult type plant.
  • This map has a property that is sloped and we will not hit the zombies.



Curious Fact: On the roof there is a flat part in which we can use plants that throw projectiles (peashoter).

NO FUNGUS AMONG US




Complete a nighttime level without planting any mushrooms.

  • This achievement is the same as dont pea in the pool and Grounded.
  • We must pass a level at night without using any zeta.
  • In level 2-1 we will use only day plants.
  • It is a bit difficult because we must calculate our suns.

GOOD MORNING!



Complete a daytime level by planting only mushrooms and Coffee Beans.

  • Same as dont pea in the pool , grounded and no fungus among us.
  • We can do it in level 1-1 (second round).
  • Also in level 3-1 (the pool).
  • We can only use zetas (the night plants) which need a coffee bean to serve.

Note: This achievement is one of the most difficult being the most difficult of the 3 (pool, roof and night).
Since most of the zeta plants are weak and requires the coffee bean.

TOWERING WISDOM



Grow the Tree of Wisdom to 100 feet.

  • The tree of wisdom is a tree that must be purchased in the store.
  • This tree has the property of growing only with special fertilizer that is also bought in the store.
  • We need it to grow up to 100 feet which is the equivalent of 100 bags of special fertilizer.





Note: This achievement is not difficult but it does require a lot of time and playing.

  • Fertilizer bag = 1 Feet.
  • Fertilizer bag = 2,500 Coins

  • 100 feet = 100 bags of fertilizer = $250,000 coins.



Tip: I recommend you to play Survival Endless or otherwise use the Margarita plant to collect money but it is too tedious.

Fun fact: The wisdom tree unlocks some codes and gives us tips and information relevant to the game.

CHINA SHOP



Get to a streak of 15 in Vasebreaker Endless.



In the Vasebreaker Endless game mode we must get a streak of 15 levels completed without losing.

Tip:

  • I recommend you to destroy the farros one by one so that you can react in time, from level 10 you will get Gargantuars .
  • If you get a petacereza it is advisable to open the vases as quickly as possible.
  • A fact is that if you get the patatapum is very likely to find a Gargantuars .
  • In this mode the seeds disappear if you don't plant them, but you can prolong this time if you select it (without planting it) and then you give it out of the screen by pausing it.

BETTER OF DEAD



Get to a streak of 10 in I, Zombie Endless.

  • The most difficult achievement of the game.
  • For this achievement we must play the “zombie endless” or infinite zombie endless mode.
  • Reaching a streak of 10 completed flags or levels.



Note: I advance you that it is complex because there are levels that the suns are almost exact, which can make us lose the game if we use a zombie that was not the right one.

Tip:

  • I recommend you to learn the patterns because although the levels are random, some of them are repeated and you can study them.
  • You must know what each plant does and what each zombie does.
  • Also know the weaknesses and strengths of each plant and zombie.

CONCLUSIONS
  • The popular video game Plants vs Zombies created by PopCapGames in 2009 is a lot of fun.



  • Its achievements do not present a major challenge being in my experience the "Better Off Dead" the most complex because we must manage the suns and position each zombie.

  • The other achievements are for playing casually that makes it great and entertaining.
