Demo island is special because it features several unique and modified puzzles not seen in the base game. It also has some secrets of its own.

For Reawakened they recreated the entire demo island with UE5. The location is present in the release files, but is not accessible by normal means.

Lets change that...

First off: Disclaimer. The Developer menu is filled with things that could potentially break your save file or install. Proceed at your own risk.

To start, It is HIGHLY recommended to make a fresh save, as any profile that has used the console will be marked with a "cheated" tag in the main menu.

After starting a fresh save, we can enable the developer console at the bottom of the "Gameplay" menu tab.

With this setting active we can press the Tilde key "~" twice to bring up and expand the console. (non-standard keyboards probably have a different key)



Type EnableCheats into the field as pictured above and press enter. (FYI: There is an auto parse with the up and down arrow keys)

If successful a notification will appear in the top right
(You may have to type it in twice, UE5 be weird sometimes.)

Pressing "N" or left on a controller D-pad will bring up the Developer cheat menu used for testing.


Feel free to ignore the warning because your save is already broken at this point :)

Side-note: This guide isn't necessarily about the cheat menu itself, But there are quite a few options here that can be fun to play with... Including a game play bot which will solve puzzles for you!

The sub-menu we are interested in is the one called "Level List"
Here you can fast travel to any map in the game, The one we are looking for is near the bottom. Simply labeled "Demo"


Indeed, this is the mythical fast travel menu which can take you anywhere. The labeling is straightforward if you are familiar with the game. Normal levels are "clouds" and the "Nexus" is the Hub level. The Gehenna levels are marked with "DLC_01" and the "In the Beginning" levels have a "Bonus_1" prefix. (Yes, you can visit these levels, The game will even switch you to the appropriate character. But expect a mess to happen.)

If done correctly you should be at Demo island, and should even have the custom UI for it!


You can get rid of the cheat warning by using the "DisableCheats" command in the console

The spoiler below has a checklist


There are 3 Green puzzles to unlock access to the castle.
The castle puzzle will unlock access to a gated World-C hub.
There are 6 stars to collect: 3 in puzzles, 2 in exploration, and one in a meta puzzle.
Collecting all the stars will unlock a gate to a bonus final puzzle in the hub.
There are 2 terminals, 1 Milton conversation, 2 audio logs, 3 QR codes, and one Easter egg I have found.

When you are done the save will be marked "Demo" with a custom icon and makes a lovely souvenir of your adventure.
