Intro
For each of the species, the only genetic trait that is different is the variant. I kept the colors, patterns, and sizes the same for each group so that the difference in variant would be easier to see. In general, variant 5 results in the most "complicated" representation for the species.

I apologize in advance for photo quality. Some of my little friends just wouldn't stand still!

@sharkboy Selenea, sprinkled around usually where the big redwood tree clusters pop up. Also some down around the first abandoned megadome site you crash right next to if you choose that for your first -- otherwise uhh southwest I think, it's next to a mine and is just the empty frame of the dome with cranes around.

@riverfoot thanks,i finally found them and now have all the species. I'm super happy, although i hope they release more planets or moons

@Cristina1502 Species 5 appears naturally on Humble on the highlands in the north center of the map. On Prime, they appear in the sandy area to the east. (I'm working from memory, so please forgive the lack of precision.)

@tovsenk Species or variant? Finding variants is random as far as I know.

Thanks for the guide, is it possible to post a thread about how or where to get the species. Is it luck and they are found in chests in the world or through the portal? Or is there certain Larva, fish, eggs, etc that you need to extract the sequence from?

@ riverfoot, thanks for the guide. Keep smiling!

then perhaps screenshots of them, with the highest bioluminescence possible?

@Shimspect After a lot more work with Arbatillo (8), I've noticed that the skin pattern color can be seen in the shaft of the feather. On Carachnid (7), skin pattern color is on both the shell and the legs.
