This is the Copan, a massive concrete wave that dominates the skyline of São Paulo, Brazil. These Brazilians really know how to house thousands of people with style...

The Copan was designed by the renowned architect Oscar Niemeyer and built in the 1960s. Even today, it remains one of the largest reinforced concrete structures in Brazil, with a total constructed area of 120,000 square meters. It has 32 residential floors with 1,160 apartments, housing around five thousand people. In addition to the residences, the Copan also includes a shopping center in its basement.
