How to use console commands
Using console commands in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is a great way to expand the possibilities in the game. You can add rare items, improve your character's stats, or even change the weather conditions. Here are step-by-step instructions on how to turn on the console and start using commands.

Enabling the Developer Console

1) Locate the game's settings file. Go to your installed game folder and find the path: The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\bin\config\base.
2) Open the general.ini file. Using a standard text editor, open the general.ini file, which is located in the base folder.
3) Add the console activation line. At the very end of the file, insert the line: DBGConsoleOn=true.
4) Save the changes and close the file.
5) Start the game. Once the game starts, press the ~ (tilde) key to open the console. You can now enter commands.

Tips

1) Correct input. Make sure commands are entered without errors, including syntax, character cases, and quotation marks (if any).
2) Responsibility. Remember that using commands can ruin the balance of the game and even lead to bugs. Always save your progress before applying new commands.
3) Create backups. Before using large-scale cheats such as witchcraft (adds all items in the game), create a copy of your save.
4) Experiment. Commands allow you to not only simplify the game, but also explore its world in more detail - for example, teleport to restricted areas or change weather conditions.

Now you're ready to explore new horizons in The Witcher 3. Use your commands wisely and have fun with the game!
