HOW TO NOT TO DIE: THE ULTIMATE RAT RACE TUTORIAL!
Welcome to my pretty ratty guide selection of survival suggestions on how to not keep ratting and baffling yourself at the same time! In this game you see IT IS BEST TO STAY ALIVE [like in that one popular song, huh, huh!]. On the other hand I might not be alive anymore if I rat out too much of the developers secrets, but... You never know!

If you're all nodding and squeaking in approval it is time to go with the flow! And get ready for spoilers!

Shall we? Just so I'll let you know:

In this guide we will focus on your actions, controls, plot, surroundings, cheating a little bit [like a rat on a ship, duh] just to stay alive and manage till the very end of the game. Please note: That in order to gain all of the achievements, you will have to pass through the game at least 3 times, twice fully and once just manage till the moment when walking is accessible. For that advice - follow the other guides available. HERE WE ARE ABOUT TO FOCUS ON SUFFERING, REGRETTING, SHAKING, RATS, SQUEEZING, BLOOD, NIGHTMARES AND NOT DYING OBVIOUSLY! So if you're up for that and more squeaking, stay in here and get ready for hell of descriptions! Ihaaa! It is time to begin! Ratatata!

The very first time you might die, is when you don't listen. YEAH. Probably the main game DEV has some Stockholm Syndrome involving his mom and dad in terms of not listening or something... But! If you want to stay alive, you need to be strict about all voice/text instructions made in the game by the unknown voice - unless that is fatty-ratty companion yapping some ratsense, then you just gotta shake him! Shake him more! Shake as much you need as to stop his talk! Of course if you stop shaking the "prisoner in your hold" he might share some useful information among the lines, so please remain EVENTUALLY patient [unless you want to completely listen at any cost to the overall noise in the back of your character - or just the game system telling you to shake, lol] and DO NOT OVERSHAKE the rat otherwise there will be no sparkles, just pure fist pain! Unless you are some hand job expert... Ekhm!

Apart from listening, next option of dying involves WSAD combination and gaining the control of your movement. You see, first objective revolves around entering the house, while you might wan't to simply do some exploration of surroundings, eventually choosing to walk in opposite direction or into the barn located nearby. If you choose any of those - YOU WILL DIE! And trust me, repetition of shake-learning-walk-through with ratatouille-nearly-be animal possessing British accent and constantly yapping to you is a hell of an irritating thing, while repeated over and over again by snobbishly sounding squealer especially. Whoever came up with this - please be colonised already!

Regarding your character movement - here is another thing. You see, just moving towards certain elements might cause a commotion that will lead to chain reaction causing your death. That includes stepping towards something or even walking through certain things, such as the "virus" structures that allow you to create pathways in them. Depending on how you move versus controlling their opening, you might accidentally get closed inside - and that is not the best out of all things. Your tempo in this game matter as well as how you move in between spaces.

Did you ever watched and of the movies belonging to "Final Destination" franchise and wondered what if you were part of it?! Now it's your time to shine by explo... Ehm, ehkm! While you are not obligated to have an interaction with everything [especially if you're speed-running in any kind of games] that surrounds you, still certain things touched or switched on affect your route, saving point, causing death with a style! How many things you could possibly have to repeat in time-consuming manner due to that?! Plenty! On the above screenshots you can see a very good example of my two failures, that were caused by interacting with something I didn't had to [yes kids, that is why ovens nowadays have child-lockers on them] or reacting to slow in response to activating something that I interacted with [R.I.P Ratty-Tatty]. In any case, that is avoidable.

Also regarding the must-do interactions with environment in similar way to the virus-body constructions, the generators of electricity are another one tricky objects in the game. You see, some of them are related to savings points, while you need to work on them in order to move further. It is associated with "listening rule" as well as "timing wise gaming" due to how you are instructed in order to turn their engine on. If you do it too fast or too slow, completely out of the sync, you will surely die during the explosion - just like in the turning the oven free choice moment.

Along with exploring the game plot through various things, you will often see that game is guiding you to "find a female" which seems to be very important objective for your character. Your death - or rather let's say possible one - depends on it in terms of "time and response" wise action taken. At some point of the game you will finally find the indicated in various ways "female" representation, and you need to kind of "awake her" or rather "disturb her" in order to trigger certain sequence from the game. This is where you get out or fully die! In case that you feel like you are "captured" and you will face - a - face but not in the ratty-sense, you might get an achievement! However I suggest you to immediately press windows button and force the game to shut down by closing game file [instead of using the steam button for that] because the sooner you do it, the more-likely you will avoid game ending. This way when you turn game back on, you will end up in one of the saving points, within the area to walk through right before the disturbing scene that require you to do some little triggering & immediately running away. Just saying: You probably will have to repeat that few times in order to get two separate achievements and best option is to run away first, while repeating just the last sequence then without any running away - otherwise you will end up repeating the entire game, and for rats-sake not many people have their time for this, or rats *squeaky noises intensifies*

The above example is what you are about to face one by one [from left to right] if you make it on time with your little rat-race-out! While if you don't manage - get ready for no "white light" [like in all of those movies about moving to the other side lol] and something worse than any random death. Just saying for sake of your rat'ting heart that could pump too hard based on what is about to happen. SO SHAKE IT! SHAAAKE IT WEEELLLLL!

I'm not gonna charge you 55.50 per my advice! However any squeaking in the underneath section will be much appreciated like during any rat plague back in the days! Thank you for reaching this further and enjoy your game! Share your ratticious adventures down below or most spectacular blow!
