In this role, the gunships are largely responsible for hunting down Orbital Armada satellites and smaller warships, and were instrumental in the retaking of L4 during the Lagrange wars. Several Clemons classes are also operated by the PKTEF for exploration of the L4 ████. The craft's primary armament is its thirty radar-guided missiles, which are optimized for high damage to the detriment of durability and maneuverability. In addition to its missiles, the Clemons may also use its 18mm CIWS for direct ship-to-ship combat, however, these are not particularly effective at long ranges. Clemons classes are lightly armored, but posses several active defenses such as CIWS, interceptors, and radar decoys mounted at the tip of its main radiators.
