描述
As animal gameplay were too similar to human, I wanted to change animal gameplay to make them unique. I mainly focus on vanilla cultures (available with some absurd event or random world easter egg from holy fury) and probably won't add any other culture.

For now, I did some basic changes for all animal (that weakens them and make them almost unplayable)
after that, I did some updates to make animals stronger, give them a true unique gameplay and create a quest to convert human into animal in classic map (that can be activated with gamerule):

  • bear: a familly gameplay based on number of children and dosn't like to have a lige of other familly (or dynasty)
  • hedgehog: a defensive gameplay based on fort holding to develop its province and don't like having its provinces sieged or looted
  • panda: a retinue bureaucracy that needs its close familly member to work as official to stabilize its power
needs "legacy of Rome" DLC to unlock retinue; too weak without
needs "Conclave" DLC to unlock official title (realm more unstable without)
  • duck: a coast government based with its development caracteristics
Trade post allow a faster development growth on province (unlocked by "The Republic" DLC for costal provinces and "The horse lord" or "Jade dragon" DLC for silk or african road trade post)
  • elephant: A female leading society based on hospital's science to developNeeds "The reaper's Due DLC to unlock hospital (and its mecanisms)
  • cat: an hord of cats prospering by living in societies
  • dog: a civilized group that govern by its lawThe DLC "Conclave" extends the possibilities of its government
  • horse: A caste based government that won't let child inherit lands. Their highest symbole of strenght is their imperial guard if not played in animal world, disabling "The horse lord" DLC is recommended. It prevent any nomad rulers to change culture (not its inheritors if unlanded through).
  • dragon: a tribalism government feared for its strength... If let alone... needs "The old gods" to have access to the tribal government typeThe DLC "legacy of Rome" is recommended
also, it is my first mod, that i didn't attend to publish (but i also have no reason to not), and don't do much in term of graphism (as i focuses on gameplay). Also, as i do not play in english, I apologize if made some typo or wrong sentences.Known issue:
  • The merchant republic seems buggy if created by one of the animals governments
