BR Class 489 Gatwick Luggage Van

The British Rail Class 489 (GLV), or Gatwick Luggage Van, were electric multiple units converted from 2-HAP motor coaches in the mid-1980s for use on Gatwick Express trains between London Victoria and Gatwick Airport, and were withdrawn from service in 2005.

The Gatwick Luggage van would be marshalled at the rear of the train, enabling push-pull operations with a Class 73 on the front. The rest of the train would be formed of Class 488 trailer sets, converted from Mark 2 coaches. These are available as a separate mod.
