Features :

Do you hate a Legendary Lord in particular? are you sick of getting steamrolled by them every campaign? or you simply can't be arsed to deal with a braindead Changeling for the 100th time?

This mod allows you to destroy legendary lords at the start of a new campaign, giving their home region — if they possess one — to their starting enemy, all of which is entirely configurable with MCT.

I have enabled certain options by default, make sure to disable them in MCT if you don't want these legendary lords to be destroyed at the start of a new campaign. Unless you are like me and believe their very presence in the game to be an insult.

Here are the default options:
  • Daughters of the Forest (Mother Ostankya)
  • The Deceivers (The Changeling)
  • The Maneaters (Golg Maneater)
  • Exiles of Nehek (Khatep)
  • The Ancestral Throng (Grombrindal)

If you don't have MCT installed, only the factions above will be destroyed at the start of your new campaigns.

THIS MOD ONLY AFFECTS AI-CONTROLLED FACTIONS.

Known bugs :

Reikland doesn't get entirely destroyed in Immortal Empires. I believe this is because of some changes introduced in Patch 5.0 where the AI starts with full control of the province while the player only starts with Altdorf and Helmgart, therefore only these two settlements will be destroyed.

Compatibility :

This is fully compatible with The Old World Campaign and Immortal Empires Expanded.

Feel free to make any submod you want for custom factions.

my bad none of this is the changeling its that new "Unusual locations" thing i forgot to turn off before my campaign

Just venting about the changeling ai who throws down cults that cause 100% corruption and costs 9000 gold to remove.. This seems to also make my settlements randomly turn into ruins. On top of that you cant kill this god forsaken faction because hes just hiding with his 127 strength rank faction for 20+ turns like whos fucking idea was this?

is it possible for you to add minor factions to this? Some of them can be quite annoying like The Black Pit Orcs north of the Reikland.

You say the mod is causing various crashes for you, don't give any details about them, starts hypothesizing that the script might be "a little too heavy-handed" then asks me how it works?

I'm sorry but yes, that wasn't very clear.

Anyways, the script simply destroys the faction you've selected in MCT at the start of a new campaign and give their territory to their first starting enemy. It works the same way it would if you destroyed the faction yourself through war and conquest. Everything adjacent to that remains the same as in vanilla (i.e faction revival, victory objectives, end game crisis, ...etc).

Just start a new campaign with the mod and see for yourself.

Fixed it, Kairos was causing issues with his new cults.
