These two Robots here have their Gear, Pilot Skills, Robot Shield Stats, Weapon Set-Ups, and Damage Application arranged to support a Power Role.

A Power Role is fundamental to the Meta and intended Game Design. A Power Role takes the qualities and features of a fundamental role and amplifies them with Min Maxing.

For example - having five weapons that dump consistent fire and then buffing that damage and their effectiveness at applying their damage - and you have successfully Min Maxed your Build.

Why bring five Weapons if you are going to use Gear and Pilot Skills that don't directly effect your ability to dump Damage?

A five Weapon Build has the highest Damage Potential. So do everything you can to reach that Damage Ceiling and then support it with ways of making it easier to Apply to enemy Robots.

The Cyclops Torso Build is great at dumping super heavy damage down a narrow lane. Imagine you are a Bishop in a Chess game. You can reach diagonally across the entire Field. Closing Gankers running down a narrow lane are hard countered. Slow Titans are devoured. Your enemies better have some Fuel in reserve. Time your Alpha for when you know your enemies can't dodge and juke away and when you can dump on at least two.

The Siren Torso Build capitalizing on being able to simultaneously disable your enemy's ability to dodge or avoid you in any way whilst keeping you protected while you deliver your entire load against a stationary target - that is your ideal Role. This Build is great for countering enemy Gankers, trapping kitted or over-pushed enemies, and singling out specific targets with your allies.

Both Builds are Suppressive Direct Fire Builds and somewhat on the Tankier side.

Note the Bulgasari Shoulders which are awesome btw. Very good for a Brawler and Bully type Pusher who knows how to create pressure and maintain it without over pushing.

This Robot here is an effective Ganker, Trapdoor Spider, and Duelist capable of dodging and closing effectively. It has great offensive and defensive tactical options.

This is a true Power Role Robot - Apex amongst Gankers with Pilot Skills to support and overall Build.

The Scatter sound cannon on top really helps to close out enemies and finishes enemy Gankers who only have three Igniters.

You don't have any supporting Gear. So this is a very high skill technical Build that requires and expert Ganker type Player to use it effectively. The Weapons, Pilots, Core Ability all support your Role as a high Damage dealing Assassin that uses the element of surpize to take out key targets.

This here is my prize Robot and these are my two alternate Builds.

Notice my use of Sprint Reactor. This is a key Gear for this Build and Role. You need to be able to reposition very quickly because terrain features in the map can be critically disruptive. Also, you need to be able to avoid and dodge enemy Gankers who WILL come to try and assassinate you specifically because of your Build.

Black out in conjuction with Flashbang - timed well and not dumped reactively - can completely disable a ganker as they often have very long reload times. First you force them to reload with Blackout as they dive on your. Then you Flash them after they finally reload so they can't even see where they are aiming. Chances are you'll be able to close them out with ally support.

Alternatively you can run Infinite Ammo Gear to ensure you close an enemy target.

You can Min/Max Idy's Skills with Rocket Type Weapons too and he has RoF and Reload Time buff options.

These two Skills here crazy sync with Sprint Reactor - which again, is a must for this Build - you need to be able to reposition because your Role is to rain indirect fire from above consistently to harass and peak away at dug in enemies and exposed enemies.

You have a nice Fuel Pool, good base Speed, and a fat Fuel Pool with the Typhon Chassis. The Typhon Shoulders are my fav in the game. And I just like that it's named after my fav Greko-Roman god.

You may be tempted to use five Vortex...

This five Vortex Build uses the Pursuer Torso's Core Ability to remain invisible while you float high in the sky. You can also wait to use it for when you are being targetted by an enemy Vortex boat or Alpha Titan missile Ability.

This makes you a Power Role as you can completely nullify another enemy Vortex Player who may only be using x4 Vortex like my favored Build employs. This makes you an awesome Apex Duelist amugst your Class and Role.

x5 Vortex are a big enough Salvo to penetrate Shields and reach into Armor, and Vortex do more Damage to Armor than Shields. So five Vortex is very scary and a great way to maximize Damage output - especially if you have a good Pilot that has Skills that further increase your Damage Potential.

Min/Max Build are all about doing one thing VERY effectively - surpassing any other Build that tries to do a little bit of this and that.

Stick to your Role and Min/Max your Build like in these examples and you'll enjoy staying relevant through the Meta at any Tier.

One final Build Type I want to mention briefly but which is very interesting to use -

Synchronize and Min/Max Gear with your Pilot Skills as well as Robot Part choices based on the highest Armor Stat.

Check out these two Skills Evolve has. Evolve is a Common Pilot.

Above is the Gear you'll want to use. Build everything around being able to Repair Armor.
