The species Glorp originated about 9 million years ago in the Andromeda Galaxy.
It is speculated that they originated on the exoplanet Upsilon Andromedae d, which is a super-Jupiter and is located in the habitable zone of the sun-like star Upsilon Andromedae A.


After overcoming the large filter and successfully building a Dyson sphere around their star about 2 million years after their emergence, they wanted to populate not only their galaxy but also the adjacent Milky Way.

Once the decision was made to populate the Milky Way, intensive research was carried out into a way to survive the journey, which is expected to take 2.9 million years.
The cryogenic sleep method was by far the most promising and has already been successfully tested on blelgs, which are something like laboratory rats for us humans.
A spaceship approximately 1.5 kilometers long and 300 meters wide, with a crew of 20,000 Glorps, was then sent towards the Perseus Arm.
As a result, the glorps reached our galaxy about 2 million years ago.

After the Glorps discovered Earth and its inhabitants around 2500 BC, they decided to peacefully appear to humanity. As a sign of their alliance, they built the pyramids together with the ancient Egyptians. This gesture led to cats that looked very similar to Glorps being falsely idolized.


Since this was perceived as a racist insult to the Glorps, because they are way more inteligent, they retreated without a single glorp to the star cluster M37, where they still glorp peacefully today.

Since around 4 million Years, Glorps dont have any religion. All they want is glorping the whole day.
They used to believe in an almighty glorp being that created everything, but with the advance of science, all theories were refuted, which is why they are now atheists.



However, glorps differ in some cultural characteristics.

In the hot places of the planet, where the Ylorps come from, they have a very strong dialect and have a very strong bond to each other.
In the colder regions where the Blorps live, things are a little quieter.
They are somewhat introverted, but friendly and reliable.
In between lies the region of the Glorps. They are the descendants of Ylorps and Blorps who form the majority of society.
