Tips
Critical Path: The absolute barest minimum needed to beat the game.

By necessity, this guide does contain spoilers as you're supposed to take a more meandering path through the game talking to everyone to unravel the mystery. This takes you straight to the heart of it with 0 investigation. Take your time and enjoy the game before reading this, games that are this interesting don't come around too often.

This will not cover any sidequests or side areas.

Don't worry about money, the game gives you sufficiently powerful mech weapons at the start and any personal weapons you need you can just pick up. For the critical path, money and debt don't matter.

Use Q and E to peak around corners on foot, if you peak, enemies won't see you. Then you can try to inch around the corner to get a shot on the enemy, or lure them with a warning shot. Since your character is right handed, you have a better angle on right sided corners and you might be able to shoot an enemy without them aggro'ing if you aim it just right. This also works in your mech though due to the glide of your mech's movement it's more finicky.

This guide will be played using the Warrior Cop, though anybody is viable. I'm choosing this class because it has the highest vitality and some armor.

You move fast running diagonally (Holding W and A or D), you move fastest if you jump while doing this.
Walkthrough
EFP HQ
Alrighty, grab the HE Grenade on the table in front of you. Hit TAB and equip it, you can throw it with V, if you hold V you throw it farther.

Head out of your office and go down the hall to your left to your boss's office. Exhaust all of the dialogue with Lorenzo Visconti. If you don't do this, he'll show up outside the HQ in his own mech, one-shot you, and tell you to get back into his office. If you shoot him, he turns into a tank and one shots you.

Step out of the office and head into the garage, which is the door to the left of the orange vending machine / straight across from your own office. Head up to the computer, and equip your mech with Ikon 25MM Rifles in the primary and secondary slots. These are the hardest hitting weapons you start with, and if you line up a shot and simultaneously left click and right click, it should take down any V-Stalker in 1 to 3 hits.

Motor on forward out of the garage.

Outside HQ
Run down Mikko Perasuo. On your right will be a V-Stalker Mech. Take it out by sniping it around the corner. If you hold Shift the camera zooms in which helps for corner peaking. Sometimes there's one on your left as well, but not always. Driving out of the EFP HQ driveway, head left to the tunnel to enter the PHC Free City.

Advanced strategy
You can take Ikon 25MM Rifle off your mech here by pressing R on it, you may have to jump around a bit to get the interaction. Then, aim down, and shoot yourself into the air to get to the highway up and to your left. This skips you directly to the Abandoned Highway, with a better angle on the enemies there, and more of a straight shot to the Bitter Gorge.

PHC Free City
You'll get shot at immediately by some communists I believe. They won't do anything to your armor unless it gets lowered by some of the V-Stalkers in the area.

Head up through the incline under the Brigate Incel flag, you'll see a V-Stalker, take it out. Immediately to your right after the incline is another V-Stalker. Turn back left and go through the first building archway. On your right in the courtyard will be 2 V-Stalkers, then finally, behind you past the archway is a plaza with another V-Stalker and some construction. Head up the construction for the Rheinstahl VS-A mech part, which gives you 1000 armor instead of 500, and it weighs 200kg less. You can equip this in a minute. Motor on out of this plaza and to your left to the other tunnel to enter the Versten Residential Area.

Versten Residential
Turn slightly right and head forward to the intersection, then turn left to hit an extraction checkpoint. If you want to upgrade your mech, head back to the EFP HQ Garage via the fast travel menu and slap it on via the terminal via Garage > Parts > Armor > Rheinstahl VS-A. Warp back to Versten. Turn slightly right again and head all the way down to the tank, and turn right and go into the tunnel to the Abandoned Highway.

Abandoned Highway
Alrighty, You're gonna see a helicopter, try and take it out from afar by holding shift, aiming high, and using both your left and right cannons at the same time to one-shot it. Afterwards you're gonna want to inch along the highway and use your left cannon to take advantage of the left corner bias to take out the truck, helicopter, and tank on the highway. The truck in the field on your left. The helicopter you can see over the hill as you inch along, and finally, one last tank on a steppe as you inch along, alongside a couple grunts hanging around a shack, and one inside.

Drive on over to the shack and pick up the Rheinstahl MG52 off one of the grunts, it'll come in handy for ground combat later, and picking it up unlocks it in the EFP HQ Garage Terminal to equip anytime via Garage > Weapons > Inf_Weapon 1 and 2 on the right. This applies for any gun you pick up.

From the shack, look for a building out in the field and head towards it, then past it, following the road to the right of it at the base. Follow it all the way to the end and head into the tunnel to enter the Bitter Gorge

Bitter Gorge
On your left is an extraction point. You might need to sleep at this point and it's dark. Head back to EFP HQ and sleep on the couch in your office, then head into the garage and warp back. Take the ramp down on your right and corner peak a V-Stalker on your left, then the n'er-do-wells by the cage, another V-Stalker across the way standing under an arch, then at the bottom of the ramp there'll be another on your right.

Head across through the mountain arch and then take a sharp right up the incline. Follow this path under the rocky overpass and on your left will be another V-Stalker to corner peak, as well as another grunt once you come up the incline. Inch up the next incline and you'll see the last V-Stalker on your left. At the top of the incline, turn right and grab the Decrepit Hut extraction point, then follow the road to the Countryside.

Countryside
Don't shoot at the V-Stalker you see way down the road. Follow the road past the service station. Sometimes you'll get shot at here, don't know why. Sometimes there's a V-Stalker to your right past the station, sometimes not. Follow the road to the intersection, then turn left onto the dirt path and follow it. Sometimes there's a V-Stalker along the path, sometimes not. Follow the path to the canyon entrance to the Famenne Wetlands

Famenne Wetlands
Alright, if you want to do this really fast we're gonna do a weird maneuver here. Go to the wall on your left, face outwards to the swamps, then spam your A key to boost your mech left and up a ramp to fly to the corner of the map with a large wooden hut and some hostile CERH soldiers.

If you overshoot it and end up falling out of bounds, just reload your autosave from the extraction point at the start.

If you want to do it slower but without exploiting the game as much, go along the outside edge of the swamps spamming the D key to your right instead, you'll come across one V-Stalker, a mushroom farm with a non-hostile inhabitant, a swamp mansion with two non hostile NPCs inside, and a ramp up to the wooden hut with the CERH soldiers.

Take them all out from the comfort of your mech and grab a Fobors CBT-ME off one of them, it's a good secondary to your MG52. Head inside the wooden shack to the CERH Research Facility
Walkthrough - Ending
CERH Research Facility
Here's the big on foot combat section. Grab the checkpoint then head down the hallway on your right. When it opens up on the sides, turn left and aim up to take out the CERH soldier on the balcony. Then turn right and shoot the camera in the corner. Then jump onto the ladder, go up, and jump across to where the soldier was. Head through the lit tunnel incline, then to the adjacent room. Fire a round so a soldier comes around the corner to investigate and then take him out. Go through the door.

Head around the right side of the pillar so you get that right side advantage, and take care of the two soldiers by the door. Aim up and tag the soldier on the balcony above you, then kill the soldier that'll be on the other side of the door. Head through and there'll be another soldier on your left.

Follow the path and go up the ladder, head through the door on your right. Keep following the path till you see another ladder, now look up before you go into the room and try and get an angle on the soldier that's directly above you as you enter, then go up the ladder. There'll be two soldiers in the room ahead of you, and one of them has an MG52 you can pick up for more ammo.

The next room will have a ladder and an automatic turret at the middle of it. Try and go up the ladder and peak at the turret to see when it's facing away from you, then speed up the ladder so it doesn't shoot you. If you're crouching, you won't fall off the ladder when you face away from it.

You'll have a tunnel that winds upwards, just creep along it and take out the final two soldiers along the way. One of them will have another MG52 for you to refresh your ammo. At the end, throw your HE Grenades at the V-S Mechs guarding the end of the facility, if the grenades don't do it by themselves then your MG52 will finish them off.

That's it! There's no more enemies after this. Follow the path to the core of the facility, don't get knocked off by the very slow spinning blades, it'd be embarrassing. Grab the Core checkpoint and talk to Jakob Grendel who's in the room with you. Exhaust his dialogue, then warp back to EFP HQ and tell your boss. That's the game!

Upon completion you unlock a couple more classes to chose from when you start a new game.

Final notes
I had a great time with this game. I'll definitely come back for the full release.
In the final release I just hope there's more side quests, areas, polish, and additional endings past the first one.

Hope this helped you!
