My version of the LVT-4/40 or Landing Vehicle Tracked-4 with a 40 mm Bofors gun.

This is a French version armed with a 40 mm Bofors AA-gun and two coaxial .50 cal/12.7 mm M2HB machine guns for fire support. It was used in small numbers as a light infantry support tank in the first Indochina war in current Vietnam in the second half of the 1940's and first half of the 1950's.

The Amphibious Vehicle, Tracked or AMTRAC is an amphibious warfare vehicle and amphibious landing craft, introduced by the United States Navy and United States Marine Corps. The United States Army, Canadian Army, and British Army used several LVT models during World War II, and referred to those vehicles as "Landing Vehicle, Tracked" or LVT.

Originally intended solely as cargo carriers for ship to shore operations, they evolved into assault troop and fire support vehicles. The types were known as amphtrack, "amtrak", "amtrac", etc. (portmanteaus of "amphibious tractor"), and "alligator" or "gator".

In August 1943 the older model LVT-2 was modified by moving the engine forward and adding a large ramp door in the rear, allowing troops to exit from the rear of the vehicle. Capacity went from 16 troops in the LVT-2 to 30, making earlier LVTs largely obsolete. This innovation also greatly facilitated the loading and unloading of cargo. Some vehicles received armor kits. It was by far the most numerous version of the LVT, with 8,348 units delivered; the US Army received 6,083, and the British Army 500.

Since there is no occlusion of water in the game sadly the interior is flooded quite badly while at sea, but I didn't want it to float on top of the water but at a more realistic depth so it is what it is.

CONTROLS
Driver's seat
On land
W/S: Variable persistent throttle. Works backwards and forwards. Use manual gearbox for more control. / Regular throttle. *
A/D: Steering.
Spacebar: Handbrake/brake. Use this as regular brake too.
L / Headlights: Lights.
K / Hazard Lights: Switch between persistent throttle and regular throttle. *
B / Beacon: Bilge pump, used to pump water out of the cargo area.
Left and right arrow keys: Turn periscope. (Same for radio operator)
Camera 1: Periscope. (Same for radio operator)
Left/Right Arrows: Rotate periscope.
Camera 1: Periscope.

In water
ALT + W/S: Water thrusters, forwards and backwards. **
ALT + A/D: Water steering.

* IMPORTANT! When switching, make sure the engine is as close to idle (1,000 rpm) as possible to avoid issues.
** I tried using hidden propellers but it didn't work for a couple of reasons so I had to resort to thrusters yet again.

Gunner's seats (either)
ALT + Arrow keys / Mouse: Control gun.
Fire action 1 / Num 1: Fire.
Camera 1: Gun sight.

Since guns are still so big and Bob is such a thicc boi his arm will protrude through the gun's armour shield on on side, but it is what it is.

The rear ramp is lowered/raised with the lever on the port/left hand side of the cargo area.
Doors, windscreens and hatches opened with buttons on them.
