Basic information
Parallel Events are a type of event in Blush Blush, giving players a change to unlock new characters and outfits.

These kinds of event have been present for quite some time in one of Sad Panda Studios' other game, Crush Crush. Although the Blush Blush event is not yet live at time of writing, they should work very similarly to what they do in Crush Crush, and as such, this guide is largely based on the structure for my similar guide for Crush Crush.

Some sections may be tweaked as we see a few of these events, since the gameplay differences between the two games may necessitate certain strategic changes.
How do Parallel Events work?
Parallel Events work very similar to the base game, but there is no resetting, and you only have a limited time to complete the event.

Each event has a set of goals you need to complete (in order), and in return, you'll receive rewards for either the event itself or for the main game. The final reward in each Parallel Event is a brand new boy for the main game, only available by completing these events.

Goals in the event will include:
  • Job Progress
  • Hobby Progress
  • Money Earned
  • Relationship Progress
  • Job or Hobby Gilding

Instead of diamonds, you'll earn a special Event Currency which you can spend on gilding, speed boosts, time skips, etc. If you wish, you can trade diamonds from your main game for additional Event Currency. Any remaining Event Currency is lost when the event ends, so don't trade more than you need to.
What do I get for playing the events?
Completing the event earns you a new boy for the main game. Additionally, certain goals reward outfits for other boys in the main game.

Murder Mystery Event 2025 (Xianyun)
Eli's Masquerade Outfit, Kelby's Masquerade Outfit, Garret's Masquerade Outfit.

Festival Event 2025 (Mac)
Myx's Kimono Outfit, Nimh's Kimono Outfit, Ichiban's Kimono Outfit.

Butler Academy Event 2025 (Albert)
Cashew's Butler Outfit, Anon's Butler Outfit, Dmitri's Butler Outfit.
Will the events/characters ever return?
We haven't seen any reruns yet, but considering how these events work in Crush Crush, all Parallel Events should see several reruns down the line, allowing you another chance to complete events you may have missed.
Gilding explained
What is gilding?

Gilding is done by using Event Currency to increase the speed at which a hobby or job is trained. It costs 3 Event Currency to make the hobby or job 16 times faster than normal.

Is gilding present in the main game?

Yes, gilding is also present as a main game mechanic, although the price and multiplier is different.

How do I gild a job/hobby?
Next to a job/hobby, you'll see a dimmed icon of the Event Currency.
(Example from the main game)

Click that, and you should be asked to confirm if you wish to spend the Event Currency to gild the job/hobby.
Speed Boost explained
What is a Speed Boost?

Speed Boosts speed up, well - everything! Hobbies, jobs, dates, and cooldowns for talking and gifting all get sped up by increasing your Speed Boost.

How do I get a speed boost?

There are two types of Speed Boost available during Parallel Events:

Speed Boost bought in the Shop for Event Currency
Speed Boost earned from the goal rewards

Speed Boost from the Shop:

This Speed Boost (or Store Boost, to disambiguate) is obtained by buying it in exchange for Event Currency in the Shop. Each boost can only be bought once, and will multiply on top of any boost you have already bought.

How much does it cost?

Speed Boosts are sold in 3 sizes: x2, x4 and x8, just like the main game.

There are basically two ways you can approach the speed boost: You can buy all three, costing a total of 110 Event Currency. In this case, you should prioritize getting the x8 before all else, and add on the x4 and x2 once possible, with only minimal gilding. Alternatively, you can try to skip the x2 boost, but you will need to gild much more to compensate.

Based on the first two events, skipping the x2 does seem like it'll be the faster strategy overall - that x2 boost is worth 8 gilds, after all, and you're probably getting the x4 pretty late anyway, so the gilds can help you shorten the time to get that. But do note that this isn't necessarily the case for all future events - so pay attention to the event requirements before you overspend.

Where can I find it?

You can find the Speed Boosts In the shop under the Boosts tab, next to the Time Skips.

Speed Boost from event goal rewards

As you progress through the event, some goals will award Speed Boosts ("Goal Boosts" hereafter). This is a different multiplier from the ones bought from the store, and you will still need to buy those to maximize efficiency.

How do the two multipliers stack?
Just like the Store Boost and Reset Boost in the main game, Store Boost and Goal Boosts stack by multiplying each other. If you have x64 from Store Boosts and x8 from Goal Boosts, that equates to a total speed multipler of x512 - or to put it differently, something that would have taken a full day without any boost will instead take about 3 minutes.
Can I complete the event without spending money or diamonds?
Every Parallel Event in Crush Crush has been 100% possible to complete without spending any money or diamonds, and there's no reason to think Blush Blush events will be any different.

NOTE: After the first two events, we have a decent idea of how these events work, but it's still early days and future events may benefit from doing things a bit differently

How do I do that?
You will need to put some time into the event, especially when the event starts. As you make more progress, you can go longer without checking in, but you do need to do so regularly.

It is normally possible to complete the events this way in about 1/2-2/3 of the event time.

Okay, but what *exactly* should I do?

Each event is a little different, so you may need to vary your strategy a little from time to time.

Generally speaking, however, your #1 priority is the Speed Boost from the store. Speed boosts increases the speed of *everything*.

You will, at a minimum, need both the x8 and x4 boosts. Aim to get one after each event currency reward. You can gild hobbies or jobs to help you get to those goals, but don't overspend - you want to buy the speed boosts as soon as you hit those goals. Prioritize gilding hobbies and jobs that need high levels and/or have high income - those are more likely to help you out in the long run.

Pay close attention to the full list of goals. Goals must be completed in order, so you should focus on whatever your current goal is, but it's good to look ahead and try to prepare for future ones. In particular, make sure you've always got some Time Blocks allocated to hobbies that you might need, and note that unlike the main game, the hobbies take different amounts of time to train - so prioritize your Time Blocks accordingly and don't let anything fall too far behind.

Avoid spending Event Currency on Time Skips unless you have all the Speed Boost you need: you will get much more value for your Event Currency by waiting. You should also avoid buying more Time Blocks: although you may have to juggle them around a bit for each goal, the Goals provide all the Time Blocks you actually need to complete the event.

When goals award Time Skips, you will need to claim them before you can progress. It's generally best to dedicate most of your time blocks to hobbies before claiming it, as well as one or two of your best-paying jobs. But make sure you look at your currently known requirements and goals to see where you need things the most.

The Goals will not necessarily require you to bring everyone to Max Lover level, but it is still a good idea to do so anyway when you are able to do so since it gives you additional Event Currency. It also makes talking way more effective: while the main game only uses your hobby level to calculate hearts from talking, Parallel Events use the formula from Crush Crush, where you receive a significant boost based on how many boys are currently at Max Lover level.

In short:

Do:

  • Start the event as early as possible and check back regularly
  • Prioritize the Speed Boost in the Shop over everything else
  • Gild things that need a lot of levels
  • Plan ahead if possible
  • Pay close attention to the event

Do NOT:

  • Spend Event Currency on Time Blocks - you don't need them
  • Gild everything - always leave enough
  • Buy early Time Skips
  • Check in just once or twice a day - time is limited
What can I do if I'm busy during the event?
If you are busy during the event and can't commit the time needed to finish it, there are still two options:

Spend Diamonds
This is an obvious one, but if you spend enough diamonds, the events can be completed in very little time. Doing it that quickly will get quite expensive, so you'll want to make sure that you don't spend more than you have to - and if you don't need to be done quite that quickly, even smaller amounts of diamonds can end up making a very big difference by giving you access to a speed boost much earlier than you would normally have it (and extra ability to skip time near the event).

Use Steam Link
Steam Link is an App that allows you to stream games from your computer to your phone, tablet and TV and play them. You'll want to make sure you've set this up ahead of time, and that your computer is running while you're away.

https://psteamproxy.yuanyoumao.com/remoteplay#anywhere

Other remote control apps are also available, like Parsec.
I spent diamonds/cash and still failed to complete the event!
Spending diamonds or cash is not in itself a guarantee of success - you still need to spend it properly.

Even a small purchase is enough to lower the amount of time it takes to complete the events by quite a bit. For example, you might spend some diamonds to get an x8 boost an hour earlier than you normally would, but that alone will save many hours in the long run.

Just like an F2P player, you still need to be patient. Buying an early Time Skip gives you very little value in the long run, because Time Skips are affected by your Speed Boost - a Time Skip with no boost is only worth a few minutes or seconds compared to if you had bought it after maxing your boost.

For that reason, you should always have the Speed Boost as your priority, even when spending diamonds or cash.
I ran into a bug and can't complete/play the event anymore
If you're missing the event button, try restarting Steam and/or your computer.

Even if you already own a reward from a goal, you will still need to meet the goal requirement and claim the goal again in order to proceed. This is true both for the final boy and any outfit rewards that you already own. You cannot claim goals out of order.

If you still have problems with any part of Blush Blush, including the Parallel Events, the best thing to do is reach out to Sad Panda Studios on their support e-mail at support@sadpandastudios.com.

What information do i need to provide?

You need to provide the following:

  • Where you're playing the game (e.g. Steam)
  • A description of the problem, with as much detail as you can give
  • Your SPS ID

Where do I find my SPS ID?

Your SPS ID can be found under the More tab In the lower left.
When do I unlock hobby X?
Hobbies get unlocked whenever a boy requires it directly, or indirectly through a job unlock requirement.

Since multiple boys can unlock different hobbies, these are estimations; sometimes you may be able to unlock some hobbies from a different boy.

Summarized completion requirements
If you want to be *really* sure of the goals you need to hit, this section contains a full list of all requirements needed to bring everyone to Max Lover level and complete all the goals.

If possible, it's best to keep jobs running even after you've technically completed them, since you will need the money for gifts and dates.

Unless otherwise listed, these are based on the events as they initially ran on Steam. If the event changes in a rerun, I'll update the relevant sections as soon as possible and leave a note. Other platforms may have certain numbers tweaked slightly, but this should still be a useful guideline.

For an idea about when you might unlock a hobby, check the previous section.

For a full list of requirements at each level, see the section for the specific event below Detailed completion requirements.

Cutting it real close on this event, no idea if I'm going to be able to get the money I need or not. Thanks for the guide, I never would have gotten this far without it!
IshoShon 10 月 11 日 下午 8:18
Well, I regret not trying to find the guide. I am in short for money to buy gifts. Welp, better luck next time. I almost there man.. Just need to make William into Boyfriend and the rest is a piece of cake.. Have to remind myself to check the guide.
Isaac Cahn 10 月 10 日 上午 7:41
Thanks for the guide, it might be too late for me to get the butler, but i will try and look up a guide for the next parallel event.
Pave 10 月 10 日 上午 2:22

And completed.
Continuing from the step-6 of previous comment of mine, I recommend gilding all the Guy-hobbies in the respective level-up order,
I.E. Cheerleading (+Attitude) -> Fencing (+Fitness).

Leave gilding Fine Dining (+Manners) very last since this hobby is no longer needed for Guy-levels.

Optionally / Optimally gilding "Bus Driver"-job allows gathering money faster for the needed "Ceremonial Pen"-gifts.
Getting Williams to Lover gives the last needed Golden Stars to Gild Fine Dining (+Manners).
And this hobby gets "maxed" far before money has been gained for the Lover-gifts.

The "No Gems"-run of "Butler Academy Even" requires minimum 50-60-hours for the completion.

Note:
This is the Parallel Event in which not enough event tokens are given to get both the maximum Store Speed Boost and the "imperative" gilds.

Total of tokens (Gold Stars) given here is 111; 45 from Goals and 66 from Guys.

My "speed-run walkthrough" so far:
1. Struggle min-max micro-manage to get the 50 tokens for the Store x8 Speed Boost within the first 24-hours.
2. Gild Studying (+Smart) to unlock Goal reward #15 to get the x4 Speed Boost
3. Gild Chess Club (+Strategy) to unlock "Gardener"-job
4. Gild Gardener-job to get the x16 speed boost
(and this is indeed only a speed boost, not also an increase in the paycheck as previously / normally).
5. Purchase Store x4 Speed Boost
(To-Do)
6. Gild problematic / super slow hobbies (and maybe some "Lover"-jobs) as-soon-as-possible with rest of the event tokens,

Very doubtful I am able to complete this event within first the 48-hours even if I've been able to uphold better than usual micro-management this time.

This was super helpful. Thank you! And love how quickly you updated it for the current Butler Academy Event. Big thanks!
themetodevil 6 月 24 日 上午 6:32
i finished this event, and this is definitely tough. I wish i had guild charming and meticulous hobbies sooner. Goodluck for the next event all.
Pave 6 月 22 日 下午 7:26

And completed.

Here's my buy-order-list for the future "Festival (Mac) Event" re-runs:
1. Buy the x8-Speed-boost
2. Gild Sentimental / Souvenirs-hobby to get the x4-Speed Boost reward
3. Buy the x4-Speed Boost

Wait until 25-tokens to buy the x2-Speed Boost

Gild following only if getting the missing x/25-tokens would take far too much time.
And regardless these Gilds are better done respectively to complete the event fastest:
1. Gild Juggler-job for rank up faster
2. Gild Fisher-job to rank up faster
3. Gild Playful / Plushies-hobby
4. Gild both Meticulous / Origami-hobby and Charming / Flute Playing-hobby; order doesn't change the flow that much

Worth noting this event really has no error-margin in regards to spending the event-tokens / lucky coins.
I.E. There is no surplus event-tokens once completed at least with this walkthrough of mine.

Pave 6 月 22 日 上午 7:23

This is future-me to past-me:
Getting Sentimental to level-58 by gilding it ASAP was the way. And then saving rest of the lucky coins until hitting 35-count to get the x4-Speed boost.

If I would have resisted the temptation to gild "Juggler" to recuperate the coins "later", I would had the needed 35-coins almost 24-hours alongside now having 25-coints for the x2-boost;
currently missing one single coin (24/25).

Although the max-max speed-boost isn't entirely needed, it is still a nice alternative to simply halve the required time to complete this event even earlier.

So (personal) summary for re-run:
Gild Sentimental to lvl-58 and then hold rest of the coins until getting all the speed-boosts.
Gilding Juggler might also help shaving time off for "speed-running". But that's something to re-claculate / optimize in future, perhaps.

Gonna be cutting it close because I paused charming at level 59 and I might not be able to get 4.37 trillion dollars in time
