When creating a new world in Terraria, you must choose between the Crimson and the Corruption. Both biomes can expand, corrupting nearby blocks. In Hardmode, the Hallow becomes another expanding biome. These biomes won’t spread if there’s a 3-block gap between corrupted and corruptible blocks. But what if you need the Corruption to touch a block?"

These are the only blocks susceptible to corruption

• Stone Block
  
• Ice Block
  
• Sandstone Block
  
• Jungle Thorny Bushes
  
• Sand / Hardened Sand
  
• Grass / Jungle Grass

Some easy blocks to get that can't get corrupted:

• Wood
  
• Glass
  
• Any type of Brick
