I'll go straight to the point with this one as it's the easiest to understand

The AA of this game is broken, causing frequent crashes, same goes for DX9 and settings above "Medium" but for safety we will use "Low"

"TabletInputService" is a windows tool that causes Far cry to Crash and serves no purpose in a desktop or anything that isn't a tablet pc, which is why we'll kill (disable) it.

"But how? I can't disable it with task manager :/ "

In the windows search box type "REGEDIT" and open the registry editor.


On the left side of the registry editor window follow this path:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\TabletInputService.



On the right side, double-click the "Start" DWORD.

In the "Value data" field, replace the current value with 4.
Click "OK" to save the changes and restart the PC.










"TabletInputService" should be disabled

"Process Lasso" is a tool that allows you to change how many cores of your CPU an app can use, this saves you from the other technique seen in other guides asking you to edit how many cores your WHOLE system uses.

After installing process lasso:

    
1. Launch FAR CRY 3.
       
2. Open Process Lasso
       
3. Find "farcry3_d3d11.exe"

Go to "CPU affinity" (1) > "Always" (2) > "disable SMT" (3)>

tip: disable everything except 4 cores (0,2,4,6) IF, IF!, the problem persists more than usual (Crash in less than 10/15mins frequently) ]

Once in-game use your GPU driver app ("adrenaline" for AMD, "Nvidia App" for NVIDIA)
And lock your FPS to a max of 90.

* 60 on missions where you still crash because of their length (ex: The one with the fishing Village, The one where you save Willis and When you save the last person from the airbase)
