This is the English translation of my original guide written in Russian.
Here you’ll find everything you need to unlock almost all the hidden content in Vampire Survivors quickly and easily.

The easiest way starts with unlocking a secret character!

One of the simpler hidden survivors to obtain is Boon Marrabbio. To unlock him, head to the very first map — the Mad Forest. There, you’ll need to pick up two specific items: the Skull O’ Maniac and the Pummarola. On top of that, make sure you’ve eaten more than 100 chickens in total (don’t worry, it counts across all runs).

• Tip: Having the Milky Way Map will make things much easier.

If you don’t have the Milky Way Map yet, I suggest going to the Dairy Plant. Simply move south, and you’ll see arrows on the screen pointing you toward items and secrets. With the map in hand, just start a run in Mad Forest and track down what you need.

Choosing the right character can speed things up a lot. It depends on your skill and upgrades, but here’s my personal top 5 for this challenge:


1 — Red Death
2 — Leda
3 — Gennaro Belpaese
4 — Poppea Pecorina
5 — O’Sole Mio

⚔️ Run Tips: Tricks & Shortcuts for Unlocking Faster

Arcana picks matter a lot! If you get lucky and they drop, here are the Top 5 best choices:

1 — Disco of Gold
2 — Silent Old Sanctuary
3 — Awakening
4 — Waltz of Pearls
5 — Slash

Let’s break down the top 3 and why they’re game-changers:

• Disco of Gold – The easiest win condition. It literally cuts your farming time in half. Every 2 minutes, this Arcana pulls all items on the ground straight to you. So once you grab it, immediately scoop up Skull O’ Maniac and Pummarola. Smooth and efficient.

• Silent Old Sanctuary – A little trickier, but equally strong. It gives +3 rerolls, skips, banishes, AND boosts your damage (+20% might, -8% cooldown) per empty weapon slot. Start with Laurel, limit your weapon slots, and watch it recharge almost instantly. Add Spinach and Empty Tome for extra power, and you’ll melt enemies.

• Awakening – Perfect for beginners and veterans alike. You get +3 revivals, and every time you come back, your stats climb: more HP, more armor, more damage, more everything. Pair it with Tiragisú for even more revives and go full berserk mode.

⚡ Weapons to focus on during the run:

Phieraggi – Giant AoE destruction, makes you almost untouchable.

Death Spiral – Similar to Phieraggi but easier to evolve.

Holy Wand – Great single-target weapon to delete tanky bosses.

🎯 Pro tip: Don’t waste too much time farming XP. Focus on taking down the boss — that’s your real ticket to unlocking Boon Marrabbio.

After you’ve picked up Skull O’ Maniac and Pummarola, keep your eyes peeled — mysterious cupcakes will start appearing on the map. They’re easy to notice (bright and out of place) and restore a bit of health when eaten. Follow this sweet trail — it will eventually lead you straight to the Shadow Boss.

👹 The Boss:
He isn’t exactly hard to dodge, but he’s incredibly tanky and completely immune to the Pentagram, so don’t expect a quick kill. Without preparation, the fight can drag on forever. To speed things up, grab helpful items like:

🔥 Nduja Fritta – huge damage bursts;

❄️ Clock Lancet – frozes him down so you can focus fire him safely.

Once you finally took him down, return to the main menu (just die)— congratulations, you’ve unlocked Boon Marrabbio!


💡 What makes him special?

His projectile speed is -80, which hilariously means Marrabbio actually outruns his own bullets.

He starts with the Thousand Edge, a solid weapon for sustained DPS.

The rest of his stats are fairly standard, but that projectile speed quirk makes him one of the more unique (and fun) secret characters in the roster.

And with that, you’re done — Marrabbio is yours! Time to move on to the next unlock. 🚀

So, why did we even bother unlocking Boon Marrabbio? Simple — he’s perfect for destroying the Bone Orb, which drops the Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane. That’s where the real magic begins.

Step 1: Head to the Bone Zone
Move toward the question mark on the map — that’s where the Bone Orb awaits.

Step 2: Use Marrabbio’s Power
Thanks to his unique projectile speed and the Thousand Edge, the orb will be shredded in seconds. To make it even faster, pick a strong Arcana. The best choice is:

Silent Old Sanctuary – insane cooldown reduction and extra power.

With this combo, Marrabbio’s knives will strike the orb multiple times per frame. The result? The orb crumbles in about 20 seconds.

⚠️ Important nuance:
Don’t attack from behind. You need to stand in front of the orb and push it back as it moves forward — only then will the damage register correctly.


✨ Once the orb breaks, you’ll get the
Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane. This
item unlocks the long-awaited
Secrets Menu — and that’s where
things get really fun.


With the Forbidden Scrolls unlocked, you now have access to the Cheat Codes Menu. Here, you can enter special spells to instantly unlock almost everything in the game.
