You want to 100% terraria am i right? Of course i am, who would want to complete this achievement willingly and NOT complete rest of the achievements. This achievement is not fun and it is very time consuming, but worry not! I will give you some tips to complete it faster and with minimal problems.

(i do not take responsibility for any sanity lost)

• You can only complete one quest per in-game day
  
  
• The quest resets at dawn (4:30 AM in-game time).
  
  
• The quest fish is unique per player, meaning in multiplayer, different players may receive different quests on the same day.
  
  
• Quest fish cannot be caught if one is already in your inventory (this will be important later) or if you've already turned in a quest that day.

You'll need lakes in various biomes to catch quest fish. Prepare lakes in:

• Surface
  
  
• Jungle
  
  
• Snow/Ice
  
  
• Corruption / Crimson
  
  
• Hallowed (Post-hardmode)
  
  
• Cavern layer (Any biome underground)
  
  
• Ocean
  
  
• Glowing Mushroom biome
  
  
• Desert
  
  
• Forest

You can also create artificial lakes! To create artificial lakes you need to dig a 300+ tile pool of water in your base (or use multiple smaller ones). You can use buckets or the Bottomless Water Bucket (or use a simple water dupe glitch, see on youtube) to fill them. For biomes like Corruption/Crimson or Hallow, place at least 200 biome-specific blocks around the water. You can also create a floating box of water instead of digging in the ground (it is easier to do it this way)

Using the right fishing gear will speed up your fishing time, making quest completion much faster.

• Golden Fishing Rod (Best fishing rod, obtained after 30 angler quests)
  
  
• High-Test Fishing Line (Prevents fishing line from breaking)
  
  
• Angler Tackle Bag (Combines all fishing accessories into one)
  
  
• Master Bait (Best bait in the game)
  
  
• Fishing Potions (Increases fishing power)
  
  
• Crate Potions (Chance for more crates, increasing bait and potion supply)
  
  
• Sonar Potions (Shows fish before reeling in, saving time)
  
  
• Teleportation Items (Magic Mirror, Recall Potion, or Teleporters for faster movement)

How to Pre-Farm Fish Efficiently:
Before turning in today's quest, fish for all possible quest fish from that biome. Store them in a chest sorted by biome for easy access or store all of them in a piggy bank. The next time the Angler requests that fish, you can instantly turn it in without needing to fish again.

Example: If today’s quest is for the Amanita Fungifin (Mushroom Biome), catch 3-5 extra and store them for future quests.


In Journey Mode or after acquiring a Bed, you can sleep to fast-forward time, allowing you to cycle quests much faster. This helps complete quests a lot faster .


In multiplayer, each player can turn in their own quest. If multiple players pre-farm fish, everyone can instantly turn in quest fish they already have. If four players participate, you can quadruple the progress!

• Focus on getting the Golden Fishing Rod early since it speeds up fishing (Obtainable by completing 30 quests from angler).
  
  
• Use Sonar Potions to avoid catching unnecessary fish.
  
  
• Stack quest fish in Chests or Piggy Banks to turn in quests instantly.
  
  
• Use a Teleporter or Pylons to move between fishing locations quickly if you have not built the ULTIMATE fishing spot.
  
  
• Summon minions to defend against enemies while fishing in dangerous areas.

And there you have it—200 soul-crushing, patience-testing, mind-numbing fishing quests later, you’ll finally earn that sweet, sweet "Supreme Helper Minion!" achievement. You’ll also gain an intimate knowledge of every biome, a deep resentment for the Angler’s constant whining, and an overwhelming urge to uninstall Terraria every time he asks for another fish from the the Jungle.

By the end of this, your inventory will be full of useless fish, your sanity will be hanging by a thread, and you’ll hear the Angler’s voice in your nightmares. But hey, at least you’ll have bragging rights! And a fancy achievement that nobody but you will truly appreciate.

Congratulations, you survived the real final boss of Terraria—Fishing RNG. Now go touch some grass… or at least something that isn’t water.
