I know it's late, but the moonblades are weaker than ragnarok. A fully upgraded ragnarok with a red bandana is stronger than the moonblades, even with blue notes.

So about Root of all Evil:

I'm in a weird situation where I can't kill him with lvl 4 moonblades even though I got to 78 charges and they should have a bonus for blue. Yet somehow you got him with level 4 Ragnarok at 80 when I couldn't kill him with 79 charges using the exact same weapons and level. Are you using the red bandanna? Cause if so, that would explain how you're beating him but still not how the moonblades aren't enough.

This just doesn't make sense, shouldn't moonblades be better for this fight?

A second strategy to Cat God's hair ball is to use katana and that one artifact that increases wisdom (purple) attacks damage, and when there's this one part of the battle where there are yellow blue and red notes, you may need to switch to a different weapon to absorb them temporarly. (Your main combo will be purple attacks)

Tip for Scary Shade, you actually don't even need to make it to the Pendulum. You can get roughly 40 off of the curvy blue notes the first time they show up since they're 3 each, and that is enough to one-shot. Took me maybe 5 minutes.

i got around 78 stored hits and it still didnt kill ... so i guess 80 is the magic number ? ive been trying to farm a few more points... should i prioritize trying to get a lot at the beginning ?

iirc I was level 13-14, but I'm not 100% sure about that. I deal 7188 damage in the video, how far from that are you? perhaps you can farm a few extra hits

what level were you when you 1hit Root of All Evil ?? ive been following your guide (which is Super Duper helpful, btw; thanks for uploading these!!!) using my lvl 4 ragnarok and i get up to 78 stored attack, but it still doesnt kill :(
