In this guide I will show you a quick technique that has helped me get some of those rabbits to get skins for your character.

Why you should catch them
Rabbits are the way of getting skins currently on the game, also there are some unlockable archivements just by catching them so why not lol

How to
  • Go to ZEN mode
  • Find a mountain with plenty of light and no fog
  • Search for HUGE slopes
  • Speed up, jump and deploy your glider (For optimal results try to maintain airborne for as long as possible)
  • Look for any non terrain colored objects in the snow and land close to them (DO NOT LAND ON TOP OF THEM, I'VE LOST A BUNCH DOING SO)
  • Landing close to them will help you re-adjust and give them a quick run Look for the trail that they leave. (Be careful they might try to lure you into trees and rocks)
Bonus
You can actually fly for as long as you want in some maps so die as much as possible and try to find those

Just to add to what Claret was saying: Every mountain has one unique rabbit skin. So catching more rabbits on the same mountain will not give you more skins. (except for during time limited skin events, then there are two skins per mountain - the limited skin and the normal skin!)

Doddamn! I already lost 20 rabbits or so... sometimes it's too late to land and they disappeares, sometimes I just crash in average snow hill... dunno what's wrong but I'm starting to hate those rabbits :steamfacepalm:

Something Ive found is that I think you can only get one new skin per map. because ive caught two rabbits in a row before and it didnt give me a second new skin. Also if I saved the map and ran it again after getting a new skin it didnt give me anything for the next rabbit either. This might just be a glitch in the current build im not sure how its meant to work.

Flying over whole mountains really lets you see just how many rabbits there are! After you descend like 1000 meters, there's basically a rabbit every 200 meters or so, it's just easier to miss them when you're on the ground skiing. Nice guide! I'm at like almost 20 or something so excited to go for the exterminator achievement
