"Whaddayamean it’s not road legal?" -StormRunner worker after driving the 03 onto a public road







The StormRunner MBTS-03 was developed nearly 5 years after the last tank rolled off the production line. Having seen how the MBTS-02 series performed in the SLA - FRD war, StormRunner executives and engineers initially backed off of the idea of a new tank, considering tank design a waste of money and material.
Only after a prototype 1-person tank was built in 1988, did StormRunner look.
The microcontrollers were free for the taking and so began the MBTS-03 project.
After 3 years of designing, testing and evaluating was the MBTS-03 complete.
Many problems had been encountered during testing and most of them were ironed out, but some problems required drastic measures to fix, one of them being the nonexistent gun depression. The TBS microcontroller allowed for a depression between -1 and -0.1, even at -0.1 the gun would impact the hull causing catastrophic damage, therefore the gun was given no sort of depression.
