thanks for sharing your experience. Sounds like a great victory
Added mementos and link to the fresh Railroad Tycoon guide
Good to read this and I'm glad you achieved this. I also succeeded today after three tries again. That marathon thing is interesting. On my tries on marathon I had absolutely no luck as the opponent always had at least one warrior which ruined the two warrior attack. Hence, much still depends on luck regarding map strucure, opponent distance, starting point, resources, goodie huts and son on.
Nonetheless watch out for a new guide. I think I might finish the new one this evening or tomorrow. That'll be a relaxed clickthrough in modern becoming a splendid RailRoad Tycoon
After a few more tries and changing the game settings, I finally got the "Playing God".
The most effective setting I changed was the game speed: to Marathon other than Online. The difference is that I only (need to) train 2 worriers and managed to reach the AI's border before the AI could finish training any military units. And the lucky part is that I moved the founder one turn closer (it happened to be in the right direction) at the very beginning of the game, and the space between my city and the AI has no independent states.
After two rounds of attack, I finished it by turn 18.
Sounds great and thanks for sharing a good seed
