Update to the game has broken this mod!
I have not fixed it yet. This mod will crash the game on build 42.8.0+
[CRASHES]

Adds the ability to forge iron rods and pipes, and also drill iron bars/rods into iron pipes.
Decided to make this mod after I realized that iron rods and iron pipes were non renewable despite forging iron bars being added.
Also made this because I realized that you can't use iron bars to craft the improvised weaponry, it has to be iron rods.

No tips needed, but are appreciated!

This mod is causing my game to crash, looks like some recipes adjustments in B42.8.1 have broken it.

Nevermind, haven't played in a while and forgot you have to enable mods per save, great mod c:

I'm confused, I can't seem to find where to craft them, is it in a workstation, or just the crafting menu? What tools and stuff do I need?

Update: Feb 6 @ 4:02pm
Heavily increased the time it takes to drill out a pipe.
Added recipes to be able to forge a pipe from iron chunks/quarters.

You can still make bars normally, I didn't change the way they're made or add any ways to make them.
If you're meaning rods, those are still made at a furnace the same way you make bars.
I just also made it so you can heat a bar and hammer/chisel it into a rounded shape.

And yes I understand that pipes are made from sheets that you heat, hammer into a closed circle, and then weld the seam. But it would definitely still be possible to drill bars/rods into a cylinder and then file the ends to be threaded.

I'll look into adding crafting pipes from plates using the real life method.
