As all of you have or will experince in DotA 2 is the unfriendly side of players, what would be considered toxic behavior. If you don't want your games to be something like this, keep reading.


Now what is considered toxic behavior you ask?

Being rude, uncooparative , childish, iritating, douchebagy, feeding on purpose etc. You all know it when you see it anyway, if you have a quick temper and become a ragy toxic player , keep reading the guide.

Just so you should know I can't make you change how you behave but you should realise that its not productive.

Remember you're in a game together to teamplay and a cool head will get you far.

From the wise plan of TF2's sniper this is the first step.

Now I know this might be hard for some people but at least try,

What to do:

1. If someone does well let them know. (I know you all do this still worth mentioning though.)

2. Give some tips to your team mates if you know helpful ones.

3. Forgive on mistakes. (no matter how dumb the thing happend you gotta know to forgive.)

4. Communicate with the team. (make a plan win the game :D).

5. Know when to say sorry. (Its okay man we all make mistakes.)











What not to do:

1.Insult others on mistakes. (Okay he ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up it happend you did too before they have to learn somehow help them out.)

2. Be a raging ♥♥♥♥ who keeps saying something on the lines of "OMG REPORT MY TEAM NOOBS AAAAA BG". (you know you're not that good yourself teamplay is the key to the win and you know it so calm down mr Rambo and play as a team.)

3. Don't use the mic if its making static. (its iritating...nuf said)

4. Use English because well its self explainatory. (nobody wants to something like this on a english server "Вы глупо нуб, и я проник свою мать cyka" no offense to any normal russian players.

5.Blaming others. (its a game calm down , blaming n' raging doesn't win the game pal.)

If you at least try to follow these rules well:

Now keeping a cool head is a good thing but having a plan is even better if you are polite team is more likely to follow you in command. (like captains mode and ranked in general)

Steps:

1.Be open to suggestions. (Captains talk to your teams, you always learn something new.)

2. Accept criticism without an overreaction (hear him out maybe he has a point.)

3. Don't be quick to judge others. (a comeback can happend anytime trust me on this one.)

4.Captains be confiedent in your skills, encourage your team when things get tough.

5. Losing is just a part of learning. Remember that.


















6. Newer rage quit! (course being an angry hoxton isnt a very nice now is it? xD)






7. Accept responsibility for your actions and do not blame others when you made a mistake e.g you asked a teamate to bottle you; he doesn`t then you go in 1v3 and die, do not blame your teamate for not bottling to you even though he did make a mistake, you made one aswell.
Just a suggestion.

Now I know this is far fetched but doesn't hurt to try, you meet new people you can play with its a win win for you.

Keep cool be a pleasure to play with, learn together as a team , play as a team and most importantly win as a team :D.

If everyone followed at least these tips matches would be more enjoyable.

Remember:

1. Be nice and polite to others , say sorry when you ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up , forgive others when they ♥♥♥♥ up.

2. Don't rage, keep a cool head, talk to your team.

3. Keep the teamwork going have a fun time.

4. You're all in in together no point in being a ♥♥♥♥ when it gets hard.

5. Don't go full ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Newer go full ♥♥♥♥♥♥.
