hangfire: best used to hit multiple low rank foes then reloaded causing it to do more damage. hitting a few trees or rocks can also be used as a trap. Place several on both walls of a choke point and hold your reload until they are in the area
Echo: in combo with Angelus this is a powerful weapon. as far as I know foes on fire take more damage. so hitting a bigger group and lighting them on fire then switching to an automatic weapon makes kills faster.
Falling star: limited to outdoor use but at max range on bosses hits like a truck. shooting things up close with this gun is nearly useless.
HailStorm: This gun fires fairly fast, if you are good at head/crit shots. it freezes them and any near by baddies. once the boss is frozen i have been able to finish them off easy.
Just my opinion, like i said not nearly as experienced as you :)
Also Falling Star is named Falling Star for a reason. It cheeses most of outdoor major threats and bosses. The crossbow is the easiest to use but its the worst of the heavy weapons.
Midas shouldve at least had a S on combo because it triggers Burning Stake AOE just by existing, be relloading after shooting a single bullet or a full mag it procs the effect.
The new Rosary system has me in a bind. It's extremely versatile and really opens up more builds to be viable, especially for the popular Shotguns and the more risky playstyles. I'm afraid I will have to redo the whole guide instead of just adding the info about the new weapons, which will definitely take more time then I anticipated.
In short: working on it. Spell guide too. Be sure to keep posting build ideas!
how to get it - (from gensis 2 near mirror there is an item (bones in box) to trigger quest that involves finding specific items scattered in the Velmorne region pryers need to explore thoroughly to complete 30 of them to finally get the weapon.)
