i have the feeling it's the opposite, where the base game overwrites what i add in the mod's files.
anyway, as it's a base game issue, i've opened a thread on pcm daily forum on this hoping to find some solution

regarding Pidcock's potential, i'll check again with a fresh database. but i'm fine with those "irregularities", as i anyway fiddle with my starting db for a specific career and i can easily correct them as i see fit. it wasn't meant as a criticism... ;)

Your issue with Pidcock having that potential is strange, but my assumption is that it is not determined in which speciality the potential will be put, so sometimes such riders get potential in weird places. Not sure what we can do about that in the DB.
(until now i just saw Pidcock having a 83 sprint potential ?!(on non-random potentials))
as what you did seems to be working, and what i'm doing not, i wondered if you would have any clue on the following issue i have?
-> when i design custom gloves (pex, same for bottle, socks, helmets) and put the proper file in the proper place, i still get the standard (yellow in this case due to team preset colour) lay over design on top of them.

i played with any file that i found that had the bothering template, but to no avail.
your mod's custom livery parts don't have this problem

If all of this does not work, the game should still be playable with our DB without those extra files
