• Step 1: Finding a Server

Open the Server Browser: Fire up GMod and prepare yourself for the wildest assortment of server names you’ve ever seen. If you don’t spot one named “420_Bong_RP” within five seconds, double-check you’re in the right game.

Pick Your Poison: Want chaos? Join a sandbox server. Want chaos but with rules? Try Trouble in Terrorist Town. Want chaos but with people screaming “you’re breaking RP”? DarkRP is for you.

Ignore Server Pings: If the server’s in another country and your ping is over 9000, that just means you’re playing on Ultra Hardcore mode. (VERY hardcore)

• Step 2: Making an Entrance

Load In: Wait approximately 12 years for the server to download 3GB of unnecessary addons, including anime skins, soundboards, and memes from 2010. Don’t worry—this is part of the experience. (Do it for the anime girls)

Say Hi: The chat will inevitably be filled with nonsense. Join the chaos by typing something like, “Hello, fellow gamers. How do I spawn Shrek?”

Equip a Silly Skin: Whether it’s Dr. Kleiner in a bikini or a walking hotdog, remember: the sillier you look, the more respect you’ll get. Probably. (Also try anime girls) (I love anime girl skins)

• Step 3: Navigating Multiplayer Modes

Sandbox Mode:

Immediately spawn a nuke. The server might ban you, but hey, go out with a bang (literally).

Build a contraption with another player. If it doesn’t explode or crash the server, are you even trying?

Trouble in Terrorist Town (TTT):

Accuse someone of being the Traitor within 10 seconds of starting. Bonus points if it’s yourself.

When you’re the Traitor, act suspicious AF. Say things like, “I’m definitely NOT going to murder everyone.” This always works.

DarkRP:

Choose a job like “Gun Dealer” or “Mayor.” Then immediately ignore the job description and start a melon cult. (Try roleplaying as a anime girl too)

Yell “RDM!” (Random Death Match) every time someone breathes near you. This is how you assert dominance.

Prop Hunt:

Hide as the most obvious prop, like a giant couch in a tiny bathroom. It’s reverse psychology.

If you’re a hunter, spam grenades everywhere. Collateral damage is just part of the job.

Murder:

If you’re the murderer, practice your evil laugh in voice chat. If you’re innocent, scream “IT’S HIM!” about everyone you see. No one will trust you—and that’s the point.

• Step 4: Making Friends (or Enemies)

Voice Chat Mastery:

Use your mic to serenade the server with “Never Gonna Give You Up.” Love it or hate it, they won’t forget you. (Or anime girls voices.) (I love hearing anime girls)

Speak in riddles, like, “What walks on two legs in the morning, and gets banned by noon?” (Spoiler: it’s you.)

Be Helpful:

Teach new players how to noclip, then immediately trap them in a cage made of explosive barrels. It’s called tough love.

Pretend to be an admin and give out “server advice.” Bonus points for convincing people to type “quit” in the console.

Create Drama:

Form alliances with other players, then betray them spectacularly. Bonus points if you yell, “THIS IS SPARTA!” when you push them into a pit.

Start a fake rebellion against the server admin. Proclaim yourself “King of GMod” until you’re inevitably banned.

• Step 5: Breaking (and Fixing) the Server

Physics Abuse: Spawn 100 explosive barrels and detonate them simultaneously. If the server survives, congratulations—you’ve discovered a miracle.

Spam NPCs: Flood the map with headcrabs, then scream, “IT’S AN INVASION!” while running for your life. (or anime girls, this works, trust.)

Fix Things: If someone complains about lag, calmly explain that it’s a feature, not a bug.

• Step 6: Surviving Admins

Follow the Rules: Or, more realistically, learn how far you can bend them before getting banned.

Apologize Convincingly: If you get caught doing something dumb, say, “I was just roleplaying as a chaotic neutral wizard.”

Bribe the Admins: Offer them virtual cookies or your undying loyalty. This has a 50/50 success rate. (if you are wearing an anime girl skin, you get more chances to win)

• Step 7: Recording the Chaos.

Start Streaming: Capture your antics for posterity. Bonus points if you include a dramatic voiceover like, “And this is where it all went wrong...”

Make Memes: Share your wildest moments online. Nothing says “I’m having fun” like a poorly edited screenshot of a flying bathtub. (or skibidi toilet...)

• Final Step of the operation (lowkey alien): Becoming a Legend

Create a Signature Move: Whether it’s building absurd contraptions, screaming ridiculous catchphrases, or being the server’s lovable troll, make yourself unforgettable.

Get Banned (for the Right Reasons): If you’re going to get kicked, do it in style. Think, “spawned too many melons” or “crashed the server with a flying castle.”

• Extra Step 9: Repeat Steps 1-8

Because no two multiplayer sessions are ever the same. One day you’re a respected player; the next, you’re the chaotic neutral wizard nobody wanted.
