This mod makes the terrain types more realistic and less meaningless to your game. It makes the whole thing more strategic. for example now mountains give more protections than they do in vanilla, same with jungles.

changed army movement speed in diffrient terrain types, defense and more.

MovementSpeed: 0.85 - sea - defense = 0
-
MovementSpeed: 1.2 - plains - defense = 0

MovementSpeed: 0.8, - desert - defense = 1

MovementSpeed: 1.0, - drylands - defense = 0

MovementSpeed: 0.8, - hills - defense = 2

MovementSpeed: 0.5, - Jungle - defense = 4

MovementSpeed: 0.75, - marsh - defense = 2
-
MovementSpeed: 0.6, - mountains - defense = 4

MovementSpeed: 0.8 - forest - defense = 1

MovementSpeed: 1.2, - steppes - defense = 0

MovementSpeed: 0.95, - savanna - defense = 0

MovementSpeed: 0.8, - Tundra - defense = 1

MovementSpeed: 0.7, - Taiga - defense = 2

I've also added diffrient build cost and growth rate but u will realize in game. trust me this mod is great.

following your logic on semidesert, desert should have -8.5% pop growth, but i suspect you intended -20%?

Very good Idea, Can you also possibly make more harsh areas more realistic in terms of development? Ex: Siberia and Sahara having a cap on population growth

i think you should describe all the changes in the description per type of terrain with it's impact and percentage, just a suggestion because it seems that it is quite difficult to analyze it individually. and, does this mod also changes the mechanism of growth rate, human development, economy, etc. based on the terrains- for ex. provinces with desert or cold mountains (/any extreme weather terrain) gives low growth rate, however the player could still increase it's growth rate but not as much as non extreme weather terrains.
