Airbus A340-600 (Sunset Airways 2010-Present)

The Airbus A340-600 is a long range widebody airliner powered by four turbofan engines. It held the record for longest passenger airliner until the Boeing 747-8 was unveiled in 2010. It provides comfort on long-haul flights, though it is a rare sight in 2025 due to efficiency concerns.
Sunset Airways currently flies nine A340s, all on trans-Pacific flights to Asia. These aircraft have served Sunset Airways well since 2008, and will be retired in 2028 or 2032.
