I've created a "getting started" type thread to help.. well get started heh
https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/workshop/filedetails/discussion/3398360783/600772765301089011/
The Kenshi mod manager is not great, I suggest using a combination of steam workshop collections and editing the mod.cfg file. You can find more on mod load order in Atlas's great guide here: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1850250979
Let me know any more questions and I hope you are having a great playthrough.
In short order tho:
.use a log to build a chopping stump, in the build menu under crafting. There you can make sticks. You can also gather sticks from certain types of trees and bushes.
.if you have completed logging I research you can build a sawhorse to make lumber from logs.
Lumber, logs, and sticks are used as buid and crafting materials. Learning more research will unlock more things you can build. Feel free to post questions on the IWK+ discussion threads as well. Thanks!
I've got a bit of a mess of camping stuff from through the years and find Kenshi's mod manager really awkward so haven't sorted it well but here's my question: Where/how to I make Lumber and Sticks?? I can get logs from Mining trees, now, but I can't find any use for logs, and am failing to work out how to get sticks and lumber.
Living in the woods in real life as I do, and being a carpenter in real life as I am, I find these fundamentally simple points confusing, upon which to be stymied. Like when I need to find a "rock" in a game, and there aren't any.
Thanks, again!
