The Sabre is a nimble 60's style sports car inspired by classics such as the Fiat 124, C1 Corvette, and Triumph Spitfire. Thanks to its short wheelbase, the car has sharp and responsive steering and a tight turning radius. Despite the smaller wheelbase, it still seats 4 comfortably and has plenty of quality-of-life features packed in! It's available with a coupe or convertible roof and auto or manual transmission, and each version has a unique body color!

Remember to press like if you enjoy the car, and let me know if you have any suggestions!

Features
  • 286 Ram-Air F6 engine with electric radiator
  • 4-Speed Automatic T5 transmission
  • Top speed: 148 MPH (238 KM/H)
  • Functional convertible roof
  • Cruise control
  • Adaptive Drift / Burnout Mode
  • Seating for 4
  • Working glovebox with med kit and transponder
  • Fire extinguisher and welding torch included
  • Full lighting system

Controls / Tips

To start, turn the ignition key and use the Up / Down arrow buttons to select Park, Reverse, Neutral, Drive, or Sport Mode
  • Up / Down: Gear
  • Left / Right: Turn signals
  • Button 1: Lighting mode
  • Button 2: Cabin light
  • Button 3: Cruise control toggle (takes the current speed and holds it)
  • Button 4: Launch
  • Button 5: Pull Handbrake / release clutch
  • Button 6: Adaptive burnout / drift mode (at low speed it will focus on burnouts, at high speed it will try to drift)
  • Spacebar: Horn

- Holding button 6 and then tapping button 5 when coming up to a turn makes drifting around corners easy!

- This car accelerates fast, and flying down the rough and narrow Stormworks roads at 100+ MPH will make it hard to avoid damage. For casual driving, set the cruise control to somewhere between 50-70 MPH for best results!

- If you prefer Metric units, you can change the instrument settings by selecting the large controller near the trunk and choosing which units you'd like (picture of location above).

"S" stands for Sport mode, which means the car will rev the engine close to redline before shifting to the next gear. So basically the engine produces more horsepower and the car is faster. In normal Drive mode it shifts earlier, which is more efficient and gets better fuel economy.

what does the "S" speed do

It's still there! You can find it on the link on this page, but I decided to make it invisible in searches so I wasn't spamming the workshop with 4 variants of the same car. There's also much less demand for the manual versions in general.

where did the manual variant go?
