Pz. IV G

The Panzerkampfwagen IV (Panzer IV) was a German medium tank developed in the 1930s and used extensively during World War II. Designed as a versatile support tank, it became one of the most iconic and widely produced tanks of the war.
The Panzer IV G was developed in response to encounters with heavily armored Soviet tanks such as the T-34 and KV-1 during Operation Barbarossa. The earlier Panzer IV variants struggled to effectively combat these vehicles, necessitating improved armament and survivability.
Some Ausf. G models were equipped with the KwK 40 L/48 instead of the L/43, which improved anti-tank effectiveness.
